Yesterday we made an option for Liberty ots for Stateroom 8342. It is a balcony cabin part of the "Hump".
It is our first balcony cabin, have anyone maybe some informations for us?? What's about the elevators, stairs and the royal promenade? We think it could be a little bit noisy??
And what's about the balcony, is it a bigger one than the "normal" balconies??
Sorry for a lot of questions :o
Thanks in advance for your answers.
I don't know about your specific room but we had a hump on deck nine on Liberty and it was great. We were in a junior suite so our balcony was quite big. I'm not sure about the regular hump balconies though. It was great being so close to the elevators and because your not actually right next to the elevators you don't hear excess noise from them. So you're in a great location and you don't have to worry about noise from the promenade etc.:)

We will be in 9686 in April! So, while I can't in any way help you right now...I will have insight by the end of April! :D
Anyone else with this cabin?
We had 9682 2 weeks ago. Not exactly the same but close enough:) Cabin was great but long walk as it's close to the back. We're weird that way we like to feel like we're actually at sea:D But balcony was great size. We had room for 3 chairs and the teeny table. One of our neighbours had a lounge chair which I'm sure we could have had too but the thought never occurred to us. Anyways there wasn't a lot of movement even though there were a few times when the seas were a tiny bit rough. And Jacqueline our attendant was excellent.

I loved your reiew too. Being a fellow Canadian I enjoyed your description of where BC is.

Yes I've always had the lowly white card and I've gotten excellent service. I just smile a lot and that works for me. I don't think I'd want a different card either and I can barely afford the balcony forget the suite.:)

THanks for posting the link. It was interesting to read all the descriptions.

When I did a partial Panama Canal trip last March my favourite thing to do every morning was read the little Canadian newspaper and find out how cold the weather was back home:)

Or just never being bored because you are always being entertained on board and you are constantly moving to a different place.

I also love looking in my cruise compass and planning my activities for the day. I can't say enough about seeing the ship for the first time or thinking of it as your floating 5 star hotel as you gaze on it from whatever port you are in.

On our last cruise on Brilliance of The Seas we saw Mickey Rooney in the Windjammer complaining about the frozen yogurt he wanted real ice cream. He was part of the onboard entertainment.

If you are going to be sending post cards take along address labels preprinted so all ya got to do is stick them on ...
This thread is fantastic. I am going on my third cruise in July so I'm still learning the whole cruise thing. I love the idea for the pre-printed labels. Why didn't I think of that before? I also really liked the idea of bringing candies and hometown souvenirs for the crew. On our last cruise we made a card for our room steward in the scrapbooking class and after she got it she came and gave us big hugs and she couldn't stop smiling. It is so true about how hard these people work and they make you feel so important. Man I am so ready to cruise again:)

I enjoy watching the sun set behind the ocean in the horizon. It looks as if it is dipping into the ocean.
On my Alaska cruise I couldn't get enough of the Alaska sunset. Of course looking for whales while we were in the solarium was great too.

I love that my room stewart greets me by name every time I pass them in the hallway. I also love that no matter how tired they are I can always muster up a smile from most of the people who work on the ship.

In Ontario they’re saving Pfizer for the 12-17 year olds for now. I’m not cruising until next summer…but luckily I got double moderna. My cousin and brothers got Pfizer first and then moderna. I read that some cruiselines are allowing mixing of mRNA vaccines but not an mRNA with astra zeneca.
