  1. The dress code on Windstar during the day is what ever you like, people normally wear shorts and shirts or tee shirts. Evenings is Long Pants and a collared shirt. I had problems with my posts yesterday I was trying to post last night on my Ipad. I did my Reply to this question and I submitted the reply it kept posting and old post. I could not delete it only edit. This morning I am responding on my PC

  2. I am outside the U.S. living in Bermuda. I booked directly with HAL. Did you book through a TA that might not be the reason why. Do you have an account on the HAL website? If so login go to my account then My Resevations then it should be at the bottom right of the page.

  3. 2 years ago I did the Puerto Caldera to Colon cruise. I used a company to pick us up at the Airport and take us to our hotel in Arenal. They organized 2 days of tours for us also took us to the cruise ship. I had researched the tours we wanted to do. They were not cheap but they were not expensive. All the drivers were very prompt and very professional. The company was Costa Rica expeditions

  4. I am booked on Zuiderdam in cabin 8090 which is in exactly the same position on the port side. I did a lot of research but the information is that the area on the lido is carpeted and you do not get any noise. After looking at the deck plan I think it would be the same for you. The noisy areas I have found are if you are under the pool areas. Where they cleanup and reposition the furniture at 6:00 in the morning

  5. I am British with a UK passport and I live in Bermuda. To visit US I have to get an ESTA which is travel authorizeation for the States. It is very quick to get online and lasts a year. You can print out the ESTA but the information is attached to the U.S. Databases. I would have thought it would be better for you. Check with your travel agent.

  6. We did the Puerto Caldera to Colon 2 years ago then stayed on the ship as they were doing a transatlantic an stopping at Bermuda and we got off at home. Pre-Cruise we went to Arenal for 3 nights and did 2 days of tours. We booked all the travel from a Costa Rica tour company. We had a driver from the airport to the hotel and then two days of tours and then a driver took us to Puerto Caldera.

In Colon we did the Windstar tour to Panama City doing one of the lock areas on the way and then toured Panama City after that they dropped off people at hotels and the airport. Then we were taken back to the ship

  7. 2 years ago, on wind star we did the Puerto Caldera to Colon and then on Bermuda where we disembarked. In Colon we did a shore excursion that went to one of lock observatories and then on to a tour of Panama City. It then dropped of people at the airport and hotels. We then stayed on the coach back to the ship. I am not sure what time we got to the airport but I think it was early afternoon. This could be useful for you
