don't hog lounges by the pool by leaving a towel or personal item on it and then disappearing for hours;
don't save seats in the theatre for shows; don't sit at a table for 8 or 10 and never say a word to your tablemates.
.
When it is crowded by the pool and we saw a group, had scattered a sngle towel on every other chair, and then gone to eat, we piled all their towels on 1, and then invited a few couples, that had been circling to find lounges beside each other, to sit down andenjoy each other's company.
One fellow, bought me a Rum & Coke, saying, "I am glad you had the guts to do that"
A HAL staff, started laughing, and gave us the thumbs up.
When they filtered in looking for "their" chairs they were dumb founded and asked a staff person ehat happened? He pointed to a sign mentioning "DON"T DO THAT"

this past Halloween when we saw a woman who was being spray painted by the tatoo artist all over. She was done in strips like a cat or Jaguar and was topless although the art work made it difficult to tell. She did have a large following until security advised her to cover up.:o
I guess this secuirty staff were not Canadian. In Ontario at least as long as money not being charged, no woman has to wear more clothes than a man.
Or as others Say America's claim the right to "Bear Arms" Canadians claim the right to "bare breasts"

I was on the Song of Norway in 1974 and we were rockin and a rolling. I was getting sicker by the moment. But I was stubburn and refused to go back to my cabin It was Formal night and new to cruising then and didn't want to miss meeting the captain. Just as I was being introduced the dam broke and his uniform wasnt so nice and clean any more. The humiliation was total!
you tossed your cookies on the Captain?
That is priceless

You might be a newbie if....
you grab a snack from the in-room minibar.
you get caught bringing booze on the boat.
Drew
I thought only a newbie would NOT bring Booze on to the SHIP
or
a newbie would carry a bottle in his hand onto the Ship:p
I thought the trick was to buy in departure port, put in your lugguge

The whole reason back packs have sholder straps, is so when you are walking you can carry them on your back.
If they are large, bulkly etc. then when you are in standing in a line or walking very slowly, and are apt to turn side to side, they should be treated like any other piece of luggage. Keep them at your feet or carry in your hands.
