  1. Yes in the bathroom, but I tend to apply my makeup at the desk seated area where I keep makeup in the top drawer. So I pack my travel mag mirror.

Also there is no place to plug in hair dryer in bathroom so I have to do that at the desk seat as well.

    Thank you so much!

  2. I haven't been on the Journey since the rebuild. Is there a magnifying mirror in ALL staterooms for old eyes to apply makeup? Need to know if I should pack one. I found a current thread regarding one in suites, but want to know specifically about an inside stateroom.

    Thanks in advance!

  3. NCL Pros,

Can you please clarify something for me?

On NCL's website, specifically the IConcierge page, it says at the bottom:

To reach guests who are sailing onboard Norwegian Breakaway, Norwegian Epic, Norwegian Getaway, Norwegian Jewel, Norwegian Pearl, Norwegian Sun, Norwegian Star or Pride Of America using the Norwegian iConcierge Phone Feature, please call: 1-877-308-5605 (Toll-Free, US Only) or 305-400-4629 (Local or Outside US), select the ship the guest is sailing on, and dial their stateroom number or their direct extension.

Is this only if we have the IConcierge app? If so, does the IConcierge app offer family back home the ability to call us on the ship at no cost or at a reduced cost? I would think those back home have some ability to reach us on the ship without the app, but at a pricey cost. I would like to know cost for this service, if any, if provided by IConcierge.

    Thanks!

  4. Used my email throughout the Baltics. I was hacked in Copenhagen either on the Hoho buses or the cruise terminal.

    Thanks for the info KiwiMum.

May I ask if you were using secured wi-fi? What happened when you were hacked? Were the hackers able to access sensitive data? What kind of trouble did it cause you?

I have been to Copenhagen a few times and used wi-fi there to access my email without any trouble but I think I only did so in the hotel's secure internet access.

  5. How secure is the Wi-Fi on the ships while in Russia? During the televised Olympics this winter there was much discussion about internet security hacks in Russia. I'll be spending three days in St. Petersburg on Azamara Journey in July and am concerned about my personal data getting hacked. I plan to use only the Wi-Fi provided on the ship. As a rule, I turn off my cell phone in Europe and only communicate via email back to the states, but I have lots of personal data in my email should it be hacked. Is the issue a real one that I need to be concerned with? Has there been any reported internet security breaches on the Journey while in Russia? If so, how best should I guard against any evil hackers trying to get my personal data? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

  7. They even provide laundry baskets! After unpacking I immediately hit the laundry and do a little ironing to get the wrinkles out of our clothes. I usually make friends in the laundry that starts the cruise off well!
