  1. Good Afternoon Drake,

We'll be in St Croix on Feb 28, '16 - I think I've read that Sunday's are family day in St Croix, will there be any stores open when we're there? Also, does your buddy Prince do private tours for a small group of 4?

It's nice when you can ask a local for info, thanks for the info you have posted previously.

  2. For your wealth of information. Just finished reading this thread and it's been most helpful , as I along with 3 others will be sailing on AOS in Feb 2016. Not my first time on RCCL but my first on AOS and with a balcony. We're doing St Croix, St Kitts, St Marteen, Dominica and Barbados.

My question - Are the Cruise Compass the same for each itinirary and activities on the ship the same as well? I'd like to know if they have a themed night where you should pack something for that particular night.

    Thanks in advance.

  3. Is there a place in Galveston that will hold your luggage AFTER a cruise? I don't want to drag my luggage around after we get off the ship. Our flight home doesn't leave until 7 p.m., so I'd like to spend some extra time in Galveston if it's possible.

  4. if you're thinking about walking to the port with several pieces of luggage from the hotel - I wouldn't do it. The taxi ride from the hotel to port is about 5 min (seriously) and about $3/4 per person. We stayed at the same hotel, as you , 2 yrs ago. We did a lot of walking to different areas, but I wouldn't do it with lots of luggage, the sidewalks weren't in the best of shape. Hope this helps some.

  5. I have the age (55) and years (30+) and can retire at any time - I love my job!, great boss, and at present the economy sucks - so why would I want to give up a good job that pays well and I get 6 wks of leave a year - don't get me wrong I want to retire but I'm looking at the whole picture - in other words, I'll know when the time's right to put in the paperwork - we have to do the paper work at least 120 days from the day we want to retire.
