Thanks Carolyn. I'm booked on the Nov. TA cruise and have appreciated the recent Luminosa chatter. This is my first time on Costa and I'm preparing for a new unique experience. I'm a 3 star HAL Mariner so I'm determined to keep an open mind. They have huge roll calls and there is nothing for my upcoing cruise - only 3 people have posted. I'm curious if there are any activities for single, solo travelers. Can you check that out please. Thanks, Christina

Thanks for your comments. The unlimited drink package of 19.50 E translates to $831.68 US (for the two of us) for my upcoming cruise. I can't imagine consuming that many beverages and even if I/we could, the package does not include Diet Coke.

Is it true that I can't bring water or soda on board? Are they really strict in checking for beverages when you board? This is my first Costa experience and have never been on a cruise line that would not allow you to bring water and soda. Comments, suggestions, expereinces?
