  1. We have had Elvis as a guide in years past. I can't tell you who he was working for when we booked, but I know it was a tour that I booked through the internet. It may have been with Island Marketing, but I really don't remember. We enjoyed his service. I remember him being very personable and knowledgable. The taxi was a mini bus, in good shape.

  2. Info Please! We are first time RC cruisers. We cruise in 5 weeks. I made our showtime reservations last night. We have My Time Dinning and I wanted to make dinner reservations to be sure we wouldn't be rushed for the shows. All the times around when we wanted to eat are booked. When trying to book online, the booking program shows available times, but when I try to make the reservation, I get a notice which states the time is NOT available and the system tries to "hold/make" a reservation for me which will not work for our show plans!! Just trying to figure out the MTD. Looks like I should have booked earlier, live and learn. What do I do now? What happens if I don't make reservations and we just show up around the time we want to eat? Will the lines be really long?

  3. We live & work just outside of Elyria! Windchill for the Browns game yesterday was -21. I was offered FREE tickets WITH field pass and declined. It's just too freeking cold right now. I would do anything to be back on that ship!

Just thought all you good Ohio people might like this info for you next cruise:

Carnival Cruise Lines has taken the fight against breast cancer to the high seas with "On Deck for the Cure", a fundraising walk that happens on every Carnival sailing to raise money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Check your capers for the day and time. You can sign up in the Formalities Shops on board. You get a t-shirt and a pink "On Deck For The Cure" wristband. It is only a $10 donation and takes about 35 minutes. Pink lemonade was provided after the 3 laps around the deck, which equals about one mile. This may or may not be promoted by your cruise director, so be sure not to miss this fun and very worthy activity. Let’s promote it and support it!
