  1. Maybe I'm mistaken, but when the door is open doesn't it trigger the ac off? Therefore bungee is fine to leave open? Maybe I'm wrong. Also I believe that that the ac system runs 24/7 throughout the ship regardless of whether or not the door is open. It's just a matter of whether or not the damper opens to your room. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't been on a shop since like 2011

  2. Have been out of the loop for 5 years. And It seems like the only actual benefit on this itinerary would b to get my room early. So I am trying to find out if I missed something, because $80 is a high dollar point for a couple hours of cabin time.

And I do my research on my mobile, and the eyes aren't once they were, so for me the best way to find this answer was too post a specific question about my itinerary and ask for some help from people in the know.

So, I am 45 years old, and don't need to b talked to like a child that just got his allowance and is deciding between a Coke and a Pepsi!

I did buy it, I appreciate your opinion to buy it, which is what I am looking for here.

  3. I know there has been much discussion on this, but I am not completely certain if fttf is worth it. I have 11:00 boarding on the conquest in February. I did purchase the fttf. But I'm not sure if I get anything of any actual value outside of having my room ready before 1.

Itinerary is San juan, St kitts, Grand turk, St maarten. No tenders.

    Thank you for your input.

  4. 6 years ago, you could get on the boat as early as maybe 10 to 11 if you showed up early. is that still happening? I saw on the website that it says check in is from 130 to 330. do they not let you early unless you have FTTF or diamond/platinum? thanks!

  5. And just to clarify--I predict he will drink a LOT MORE than his typical at home (where he has one beer or one glass of wine per night). He will probably have 3-4 drinks per day, plus bottled water. Maybe more, but I'm not going to know until we are there.

While we won't break even, we will have a much more relaxed and enjoyable vacation because of the Cheers package. That's worth $500 to me.

And maybe we will surprise ourselves and find that we DO break even.

It's our 25th anniversary and we are going to relax, have our first kid-free vacation in years, and not think about how much every drink costs because we have already paid for it.

While the husband might not get his $50 worth, it sounds like you can probably make up for it! And chances are that he will have more than the 1 or 2 per day.

The best thing about the all inclusive is that it does make it easier to enjoy the cruise without worrying about paying for each drink, whether it's coffee, liquor, soda, water. This is coming from someone that does consider if I want to spend money on the next drink. Removing that from the equation is almost priceless!!

  6. Forgive me for not doing my own research, but everything I do is from a phone now, and this site is not as friendly as when I used my pc. I haven't cruised in probably 5 or 6 years now. I have taken 4 or 5 cruises total, 4 carnival, 1 princess. Do most ships still have the 24 hour pizza? Deli? Burger and hot dog grille? I have seen some of guys buffer joint posts, and the iguana. But I don't really know what that's about. Are these places free like the past grilles? Looking for a little help on what has changed in the past 6 years, any help is appreciated, thank you.
