The Panorama is typically sailing past the Cabo area between 10AM - 11AM local time. Mazatlán is the next major port and is 8.5-9 hours away. If it made its way into Cabo at 2PM local time, I would an educated guess that it turned around for a medical emergency.
I’m currently at the Waldorf in Cabo and we watched the Panorama approach from the North yesterday afternoon so she was not backtracking. We were also confused to see it leaving a few minutes later. The Cabo port schedule showed the Panorama was supposed to be in Port at 10am but the itinerary shows it coming in on Thursday. Also came here to find out what happened.

Next up is a 4 night small ship cruise in the Yasawa Islands of Fiji on the "Fijian Princess" with Blue Lagoon Cruises. We'll combing this with some land vacation time there too.

Fiji has dropped their RAT testing requirement effective September 5, so hopefully that applies to cruises too.

No, the poster you quoted is wrong. A quick look at a map will verify that.
Okay, good. Glad to clear that one up!

Port side (left side) is the way to go for upward cruises from Vancouver/Seattle to Whittier. Going back down you'll want a Starboard Side room (right side).
Now I'm confused! Everything else I've read said just the opposite, so we booked a Port side cabin from our Southbound Whittier to Vancouver cruise. Did we make a mistake with that?

What about the Island Princess?

Actually, Mr. Sanchos does offer an AI package now that includes food and drinks. I believe they also have kayaks for rent. I doubt C&C has any of that, at least not the downtown location. I have no clue about their beach club.

Thanks for all your help Laura. We'll be sure to reserve in advance.

Thanks for the info Laura. Can we just show up at Playa Uvas and pick our package then or do we need to reserve in advance? Sorry if someone already answered this. There are so many posts to sort through!

Anyone know how much it costs to rent a locker if you don't do the all inclusive package?

Hey Jellyfish, thanks for the review! What types of food were offered on they $15 buffet? I don't eat red meat or pork, so I always have to ask before I buy in.

I think all upsell offers have to come directly from the upsell office, not from your personal consultant.

I have been trying for several days bidding anywhere from $70 - $125 for a San Juan Resort and finally scored the Marriott at $115 for three nights (4/25 - 4/28) pre cruise. Just thought I'd share this in case anyone else is trying for that week.

I've been trying for a while to find a room for our first night in Puerto Rico (4/21/07) before we go exploring for a week prior to our cruise. We get in late and just need a comfortable place to sleep. I usually have good luck with Priceline, but this time I couldn't get anything to come up for the Resort level, even up to $155. I finally started bidding on 3* up to $100, they gave me a counter offer of $122, so I took it and ended up with the Normandie. Definitely not my first choice, but it will do. 4/21 seems to be a tough night to get a room. A lot of places are already sold out that night for some reason.

Someone responded to me in the roll call. It was in fact a medical emergency. Someone was dropped off to ho to the hospital in Cabo. Hopefully they are okay! She returned to itinerary as scheduled.
