Unless you've actually been in most of the cabins how would you know? That's why we compiled this list from many people with personal experience of the individual cabins.  There's no question that the aft cabins on deck 1 have some engine noise and vibration.

Not a large ship! I define noisy as constant noise or noise at inopportune times. Like staying under the disco on a large ship. You may hear something’s out of normal activities but I didn’t detect anything and we were the last room aft. You could stand outside our room and easily see the last room aft!

itcTN--please report back if you can check your bags all the way thru. We have the same situation in Nov.

Will do! Since AA and ATN are codeshare partners hopefully they will be able to do that for us. If not, we have 3 hours between as it now stands.

  3. We are BNA to LAX on AA 5/23/23 arriving at 8:30 PM, The ATN flight is 11:55 PM but I asked the same question about claiming and rechecking the bags. ATN and AA are codeshare partners so my hope is that I can get ATN to connect the flights and they can check it straight from Nashville.

These were the transfer times at end of August. We were on 6A. Journey was about 2 hours 20 minutes. Our flight was at 12.50 . BA check in to London didn't open until. 2.5 hours before.

As your flight was booked before port change, I think Azamara will step up to the mark and there may be an earlier transfer available. On Quest in May the transfers started at 5am!

Thank you for posting this schedule. I think we will stick with the schedule we have currently and if we have to change then we change.

I assume you have to change planes on the way home to TN, so it will be a long day and 12:15 probably sounded like a reasonable compromise when disembarkation was in Venice.  From Ravenna you will need to leave the ship very early [especially if you want to honor the airlines' 3 hour check-in guidance plus the 2-3 hour drive from the port to VCE] but it sounds doable.

Have you looked up the later flight possibilities?  If you have good seats on the existing flights and the good seats are already gone on the later flights – I would probably stick with what I've got.  If you have to stay over until the next day, does that work with your schedule?  Not knowing where you were going to change, it's hard to search for real answers.  So many moving parts!

We are flexible but we have great seats on the return (premium Economy) so I really don't want to change. The flight is VCE to PHL, PHL to BNA. Great flights. All on American.

We are on a cruise from Ravenna on Oct 10.   Our travel agent arranged for Azamara transfer from Venice to ravenna on sail day.   We had nothing in writing-- and were thus concerned.   I wrote the Az Circle email address, and after 2 weeks and a initial non-informative reply, received a reply today that indeed they did have us as confirmed on the list for transfer.

         LESSON.... keep asking the question...

INQUIRY:   Why did both Az Circle replys come from Witchia Kanas, on weekends, and one from a UK email address and one from a US email address.... but from the same person?   They need to augment their HQ staff!

We will be getting off the ship in Ravenna on 10/10. Our flight , which was booked prior to port change is out of VCE at 12:15PM. Regardless or cost or arrangement, is that doable. The initial letter from AZ, they stated they would arrange transfer but the flight had to be after 12:00. Thoughts?

I recently put an offer in for upgrade from V1 to CC.... a weak bid !!    If we get the upgrade do we get the speciality dining and other things that go with a CC  ?

I read the small print & couldn't find the answer.

We have never put a bid in previously.

We placed a weak bid for the same on the 9/30 Pursuit Cruise. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

  8. We stayed in a Sky Suite and we are hooked! I have ZERO complaints about the ship. We were at Approximately 850 guest. My only regret was not eating at Eden. We did catch a show in Eden and all I can say is WOW! Our cruise was 7/9-17 Athens to Athens.

  9. We are on the 7/9/21 sailing. Very pumped for this trip. We upgraded from AQ to SS and pleased that we did. Any early cruise hiccups I trust will be corrected by 7/9. Honestly, I'm just happy to be back on a ship! Looking forward to meeting others, see you Friday!

Are there any groups or places I should be watching (besides here) for info once the first sailings on the Apex happen this Summer? We're booked on the 7/17 sailing and I'm anxious to hear if all the ports are allowing you to explore on your own, etc.  - TIA!

We are booked on the 7/9 departure from Athens. It was posted on our roll call that we are permitted to book independent excursions. I have booked two.

  11. We were booked on Azamara Pursuit departing Athens on the 10th of July but it was cancelled so we booked Celebrity Apex which is departing on the 9th of July. Since we had our flights all we gave up was a pre-cruise night in Athens. This cruise is shorter so we will have 3 post cruise nights in Athens. I haven't heard anything about a pre-flight form or declaration. We are both vaccinated.
