We booked a bear watching excursion with Hoonah Travel Adventures in ISP and Rum Runners in Juneau for Whale Watching. Hoonah Travel also offers whale watching also.

Just booked Delta for $1,315/pp first class from Ga to Vancouver RT.

Has anyone stayed here pre-cruise?How much was a taxi to the port? Were their any good places to eat nearby?

You can get a 4 hour private tour with Rum Runners for $700.

Try rum runners in Juneau. A lot cheaper than Harv/Marv and gets great reviews.

For those who have taken their tour, who and how much did you tip? We are going on their 4 hour tour.

I see where they have a free shuttle to the port. Do they drop you off in front on Canada place or where the porters will take your luggage for the cruise?

Oldest daughter wants to gold pan. She wants to go pan with Disney characters but I also want to ride the train.

Wanting more input on the gold panning and other entertainment. One is at Liarsville the other at ALASKA 360 former Klondike Gold Fields. Kids will be 7 and 14 at the time. The one with Liarsville is train up and bus down. Alaska 360 is Train RT.

Looking for hotel recommendations for our pre-cruise stay. Clean and in safe neighborhood with places to eat near by. Will be flying in for our cruise. Like to pay no more than $300/night if possible.

Looking for recommendations for a company that can give our family of four a private tour to emerald lake, caribou crossing etc. Want to see wildlife, puppies, and pan for gold with a sit down lunch and take the train back down the mountain in the afternoon.
