I totally enjoy Ensenada. So much to do and the wine country has really received some recent notariaty. If you're not into wine the fish tacos and beer are amazing. Truly disappointed at the cancellation/itenerary change!

That is why I am disappointed too. Been to Cabo many times. Even spent 2 weeks at a resort there.I don't understand why they would have to cancel Ensenada.

  2. I guess what we enjoyed most about the Bliss and the Encore was the entertanment, speciality dining, the boardwalk and the lounges. Worried that we might not have enough to do in the evening on the Jewel. Pretty much the same itinerary.

On transatlantic cruises, NCL provides a bridge instructor and game director (usually a married couple).  They offer a beginner lesson, an intermediate lesson and a two-hour game each sea day.  These are usually held in an empty specialty restaurant.  In my experience, attendance runs about 50 per event.  Great way to pass the time, learn (or improve) a new skill and meet other passengers.  No charge for these activities.

But then I'd have to get up and dressed. A cup of coffee in bed looking at the ocean go by, or in my pjs on the balcony is 👌

Bonus if it's good coffee, but if not at least it will tide me over till I'm up and out of the cabin 😄

    I agree!

  5. Thanks for the Info but not to worried about dining as there is a White Spot restaurant onsite. Also not usung the Sky Train as will just take Uber to the port in the morning. It was lot less then the other airport hotels and didn't want to pay over $400 a night for a downtown hotel. Booked it for now and will watch for price drops for other airport hotels.

In 2016 we did a 20 day repositioning cruise with the Norwegian Sun from Valparaiso, Chile and all the way up to San Fransisco. Many of the same ports as on the itinerary you are considering for February 2024, and that is actually the most amazing cruise we have done (and we have been on more than 30 cruises in total). Simply because of the itinerary.

I have been on both ships several times in the past, and had a great time. Both ships are on the smaller side, both ships have had refurbishments not that long ago.  My insider tip: The Sun has the best/nicest/largest club balcony cabins (used to be called "mini-suites") in the NCL fleet.

We did the same cruise. It was amazing.
