  1. I just bought the Fuji XP120 and it takes great pics for the price I paid $150 at Sams. Read great reviews online about the underwater pics it takes and cannot wait to use it in 3 weeks on our Thanksgiving cruise.

I just got back last Night from a cruise to the Caribbean. Are used my Fuji also when we went when I went snorkeling. Pictures were stunning. Can’t wait to use it again in June. Also, princes cruises actually would print my pictures while I was on board. Only charged me $.15 per picture. I didn’t know they would do that.

  2. We've been on 9 princess cruises and ALWAYS had no problem getting iced tea. First cruise I had to "teach" our waiter how to make it since the pre-made was awful. (Lipton Tea bag, hot water, ice cubes). All the other cruises Iced Tea was great. Never had to pay. We get Iced Tea at every meal except breakfast. On Lido deck (pizza/hamburger/burger) Horizon Court. International Cafe. Main Dining Room.

  3. We are boarding the Crown on the 13th, for 5 days. Hopefully all will be squeaky clean by then....I always wipe down and spray my cabin several times during cruises AND WASH MY HANDS ALL THE TIME, not just using sanitizer, plus I carry sanitizer hand wipes with me. Don't like the gels.

  4. I am currently "fighting" with the Princess Card customer service people about inaccurate posting of double points. On the same statement, the card doubled some charges, i.e. future cruise credits, and failed to double points for other Princess charges. I wish these people would get their act together.

After spending hours with princess refit card points redemption reps we FINALLY got points applied to upcoming cruise. We are cancelling our card. It's not worth the hassle of dealing with representatives Who don't know the product, and only read from a script.

  5. When we booked our May to Alaska Back in November, you HAD to prepay for excursions. Then they reversed that policy and as of today you DO NOT have to prepay. I know I personally made several phone calls complaining about this policy.

  6. We are actually doing the Princess cruise. This will be our 3rd Alaska cruise and 4th total to Alaska. I don't think you'd be disappointed. Hint: there is actually an excursion at Tracy Arm Fjord. Go for it!

  7. We have had Caribe deck balcony cabins on our last three cruises on Princess. You can't see much of the people below. My only problem with the people below was the one lady who complained that my bubble machine was interfering with her and she asked me to make my bubbles go in a different direction… Sorry I can't control the wind. But I did turn off my bubble machine.

  8. I too got the casino discount (30 percent booking discount ). Good for all bookings made in 2015, but you're sailing can be in following years. Princess agents say it's random who gets this discount and there does not seem to be any specific formula as to how much discount you get. They just keep telling me I am very lucky.

  9. I never got a pin, card or package on my last cruise (which was what qualified me as Platinum). But my cruise personalizer does say Platinum. I'll check with CC onboard and see what happens.

I would love to have the pin on my lanyard, along with my Princess Pop Choir pin, and any others I collect along the way.

We didn't get our pins for each level either, so I called princess and within a month or so, they sent me all the pins I had not rec'd. Done!

  10. Maybe I missed something, Is the soap/shampoo in all stateroom now? As of when? We last cruised in November. I noticed then they were giving the body wash vs bath soap bar. DH prefers bar soap and the room Stewart was happy to provide all the bars we needed. I always bring my own soap and shampoo.

  11. I too have been using the TSA lockable straps since they came out. Knock on wood, never had a problem. My suite cases are black so got the brightest neon green strap and neon pink strap. Samsonite had/has a equally bright green and pink luggage tag call the bright spot. I put the green strap with the pink luggage tag and visa versa. I also have hi-vis yellow luggage identifiers that Velcro onto the handles (side and bottom). I also found bright tsa approved luggage locks in bright colors. Needless to say, we can always spot our suitcases. Last time we cruised, we could see them unloading our bags at the dock because of the colors. We may not have the prettiest luggage, but at least we can easily find it.
