How was the tendering in Maui? 

We got the cabana for $299. Thought it was a good deal since wristbands are going for almost $50 on our Oct Mariner sailing. 

We just sailed from Seward to Vancouver July 21st. It's still there in name only. You can get drinks. Also, its a nice view to look for whales.

That's exactly what we did. Jaime Olivers and the hostess hooked us up for all the restaurants we wanted. The computers around the ship said everything was booked so don't waste your time with them.

Looking forward to a great cruise on her in March.

We ate at Sabor on Allure and Harmony. Excellent choice.

We used Rome cabs. They were great. Got dropped off and picked up from different areas. Saved so much time and got to see more than the cruise ship excursions.:)

Yes. I brought a case in a carry on cooler. Security inspected all the water. No problem.

I know this probably has been asked and answered before I just need to know updated facts.

 

I am currently in graduate school via online and will be in class during our Alaska cruise in Sept. We will be on the Explorer of the Seas, how good is the internet access on board, I will have a laptop with me or should I use the computer lab on board. As you can see from the list of cruises I have been on this is the first time I will need the internet as my classes are only 8 weeks long. If I can I will try to get everything turned in before but we are driving to Seattle from Texas so I might not be able to get everything turned in early. I am just a little worry about the connection of the internet. I will be letting my prof know ahead of time just in case.

13 Royal cruise reservations and we have never received a message.

I have to agree with you on this. We sail next week on Allure so hopefully disembarking will be expedited when we leave 2 weeks later. If not, we do have Global Entery and will be using luggage valet, so it will be somewhat faster than a regular departure.

I was just on the Seranade in Ft. lauderdale 2 weeks ago and the Global Entry Kiosk was not set up. I walked off at 7:30 so maybe they set it up later?

The walk to the fort is uphill and is a good 15 minutes. You will definitely get some good exercise. Enjoy.:)

I just love bar hopping between the 2 lounges. I always meet new people and enjoy the conversations. Thank you Royal for being loyal. :)

I haven't noticed any difference in the service. That being said, I think they still want an envelope with a little something something in it. :)

One word of advice, just make sure you get the price set before you get in the taxi or van. Enjoy Cozumel. It rocks. :)

Man I can only HOPE that the Quest on my cruise next month is gonna be as fun as that one! :D
