We've only cruised on ncl once a few weeks ago, I thought the soups were awful. Not a clam or potato in the clam chowder and not an onion or cheese in the French onion soup .
Prime rib was delicious , we didn't like the same menu every lunch in the MDR

We sailed on the Anthem a few weeks ago and loved it, I felt the crew was very friendly (except the staff at Cafe promenade), we did I fly and enjoyed it, we ate in the MDR each night with MTD, and never waited, though we eat early so that can be a factor. Embarkation was very quick, we never had to sit down, it was crowded, but there were lots of employees with tablets. I thought the workers in the parking lot were fantastic, very friendly. Leaving the ship was easy also, we walked out of our cabin at 630 and we were out of the garage by 7. We thought the ship was beautiful , loved the fact that the crew tied the chairs to the railings so the track was clear. Best gym I have been in on a ship.

We were on RC 3 years ago at the end of January, first of Feb- they tendered at Samana and we took a ship excursion to see the whales-There were a lot of whales, babies and parents- we saw a few from the ship, but many more when we took the excursion- the boat was safe, but the waves were high- there were several boats out and they radioed each other with locations, also made sure there were not too many boats near the whales at one time- definitely enjoyed the excursion

We were on the Regal 2 weeks ago, they started self disembarkation at 0600- we were in the 0615 group- customs just waved everyone thru- we grabbed a taxi and were at the airport before 0700- (we had an 1100 flight), but if anything goes wrong it could be a disaster-

This type of glitch happened to us in June- they forgot the "10" in front of 39 and had balconies for $39 for one sailing of Regal- The cruise is in January, Princess honored the price, said it was an error- I thought it was very good customer relations- We've never been on Princess but we are looking forward to our cruise- (of course the airfare was expensive!)

We're on the Jan 25th Regal sailing- there are 7 ships at St Thomas when we stop there! Does it matter who gets there first? Regal arrives last at 0900- Celebrity shows as a tender, but that still leaves 6 ships-

I guess I was lucky earlier this summer- Princess left the "10" off of the per person price of $1049 for a balcony on Regal- I booked it for $49 each for the two of us, received an email the next day, saying it was a glitch, but they honored the price!:)

I live in Syracuse where the Fucillos are from- must be a local promotion for Florida, no commercials up here- His son, Billy, bought a Nissan dealership and Billy Sr has been pushing that up here
Has anyone tried the "Try Dive" while on Board?

I tried it on Anthem a few years ago, only 2 of us signed up, it was early, maybe 8 in the morning, they had it in one of the pools, not many people in the pool at that time. It was fun, but on no way prepared you for a real dive.
