We are normally RCCL cruisers and really loved the Luggage Valet option and the Key program on RCCL. 

‘We are sailing on the Edge in December and wonder if Celebrity has anything like that?

Does anyone know the price of bottled water on the cruise?

It’s been a few years,so it may have changed, but we thought that Europe and Asia were more towards dressy casual most nights.

We were on an Australia and New Zealand cruise last year and they were as casual as the Caribbean.

We were overnight in a few different ports. When we were in Bangkok, we booked a fabulous private tour the first day that went from 8:00 AM until 12 midnight. We went back to the ship after our tour. On the second day, we took a ship’s tour so we would be back in time.

On another Asian cruise, we docked overnight in Shanghai. We actually stayed at the JW Marriott instead of going back to the ship. The ship left later the next day and we had a wonderful night in Shanghai.

Sprint global was great. We’ve used it in the Caribbean as well as Australia and New Zealand. We did buy an internet package on the ship and then we were on Sprint Wi-Fi. As long as we were on Sprint Wi-Fi, we could make as many calls as we wanted, anywhere we wanted.

In the ports, we were charged $.20 a minute for any calls that we made.

We had free texts and free slower data everywhere.

The sprint global plan was great for us. Once we bought a ships internet package, we were on sprint Wi-Fi and could make all of the calls we wanted for no extra charge. Data and texting was always free no matter where we were. When we were in port, calls were $.20 a minute.

Overall, Mykonos and Santorini are my favorite. In the Caribbean, it's St Lucia.

 

 

 

Nice to hear about Milford Sound. We'll finally cruise in NZ and AU in March.

FYI - the overnight shore excursion to Queenstown, which started in Milford Sound, was fabulous!!!

I also booked all of our “my time dining” times and today it said “at your leisure “. I called RCCL and my times are listed at their end - just not on the cruise planner for me. It doesn’t really make any sense!

Way back when Navigator of the Seas was a brand new ship, we were able to upgrade when we boarded to a suite from a balcony for very little money.

Unfortunately, it hasn't happened since!
