I have 7-8 dresses hanging on the back of a door that I hope to get photographed and offered after the long weekend (FOUR DAYS OFF - YIPPEEE). They range from a size 4 (I think) to 10.

I do not believe paying brokers fees are the cost of doing business, I purchased the art for personal use and being charged 40% of the total price is not reasonable. The art dealers on the ship should be aware of these extra charges. I am not convinced that they do not know. I posted the warning to inform those who would like to avoid the extra charges with a possible solution.

We were booked for the Allure but ended up cancelling as we decided that we enjoy longer 12-14 day cruises for the same amount that a 7 day is on these big ships. We also like to be able to go to smaller ports like St. Vincent or Bonaire.

I am confused by your posting Oceanbreezer ... are you saying that unless you have been on CC for a long time and makes lots of posts that there is an issue ??? I have been on CC for many years but just found this thread and find it great idea for people to share ...Marie is just one great example of true generosity of spirit and soul and takes sharing to a new level and I love her actions so much that I was going to have my hubby take some pics of some clothes and put them up but if you have to be along time member ..... as you seem to be suggesting then I will not bother ..... Please help me to understand your post :) as I am now confused ......

No...not at all. I was just confused because Cruisincowgrl8 has a join date of Jan 2012 in her profile which she has now clarified in her post with the email change and that is why I was confused when she mentioned 2009.

I do not have a picture of me in the dress and I cannot find any picture of it online. It is a Ralph Lauren zise M. It is green color like the dress below, but the style is like the blue one.

Just copied and pasted from snapfish. Make sure you click once in the reply box so your cursor shows up. Then right click, paste

That's interesting...I tried it again just now and it doesn't work. Are you running Chrome or Internet Explorer? Windows 7 or XP? Yours showed up with

as the prefix and suffix to the link whereas mine doesn't show up with it. Very interesting. :confused:

I believe on Snapfish, you can just copy and paste. Right click, copy image, come to thread, click where you want to put your picture, right click, paste....

I just tried this and it doesn't work. You can copy the image and save it on your computer but you can't directly post it onto the CC board like you can with photobucket. There is no paste option and CTRL + V doesn't work either.

Somehow, we will get this figured out. :)

Keithskelly~ I just signed up for a snapfish account and tried it out. If you click on share beside the photo, it only links the snapfish address onto the message and not the photo. People would have to click on the link and go to an external website which in this case is snapfish. :confused:

You could upload them right from your computer using the paper clip attachment but they are very small when you do it that way and the photo resolution needs to be very small or the upload fails. :(

OK, ladies, I have a couple things that I hope someone can use, and I've been fighting with my android and iMac for over a week to get these pictures transferred from my phone to the mac, and finally managed to get them onto snapfish. My problem is that now I can't seem to figure out how to post them!! UGH!! Help, please? :o

Try this...I don't know if snapfish is like photobucket but this is how I do it.

1. Open up photobucket (snapfish) on your browser and find the photo you want to post. There are links on the right hand side of the page and you want the IMG one.

2. Click on it and it should say copied...

3. Come back over to the CC message that you have started and paste it onto the page with a Ctrl button and V pushed together.

4. It copies the link to the photo and looks like a bunch of letters, numbers and characters. Press the button that says Preview post and if it worked you should see your photo. Press Submit REPLY. Good luck!! :D

Yes it is very beautiful. :) Fyree39 decided to keep it and get it altered for herself so I don't have it. I am going shopping on Saturday with my DD to see if I can find something like it. Wish me luck! :)
