Are there banks at the Auckland airport, located near the international arrival area? I'm assuming if there are, that they have an ATM available for after-hour arrival usage.
I am thinking that this might be the way to go for cash, rather than exchanging here in the USA before we leave

thank you - I had a feeling it would be very much like here in So. Calif - in other words, for that time of year, anything goes! Layering is the way to go.

I know it's early but the question does keep popping up in my head as far as clothing etc on what to pack
Our cruise starts in Auckland 1st week in November and ends in Sydney last week of November. Would I be safe to pack half & half for warm/cool weather? (Our only stops in Australia are Melbourne, eden, Hobert and Sydney ).

Just found the port authority calendar - we will be docking at White Bay Rozelle.

What would be the best way to get from the cruise port in Sydney to our hotel (Radisson on Liverpool St.). Taxi or prebooked shuttle?

We will be 2 nights each in Auckland and Sydney in November. Would like to look at B&B's that would be convenient to trains or metro's as we would prefer not to rent a car. Anyone have any suggestions of areas to start our search - - - or recommendations of a specific place?

One more thank you to the OP for posting something about the sale! I was able to call our ta and even though they were closed on Saturday and Sunday, talk to her today and she got a hold of Hal and for three of us sharing a suite, total price reduced by $2400! We did give up the explore4 but feel it was well worth it.

Thank you all for the great ideas! I love the scarf idea - and the leather gloves. Last time we were in Florence I did splurge on a leather jacket - and it has been worn so much it really needs to be replaced!! We'll see. Anyway - great suggestions. TY And Eleanor - I really like the wine idea - plan to do just that - drink it there!

What sort of souvenirs should I look for in Italy? I know Venice would be the Murino glass and the Amalfi coast would be anything with lemons! But what about the Tuscany area? Rome? Not the cheesy kind but something to be enjoyed after the cruise is over.

Thank you for the comments and suggestions. I think we are "going to go for it" and do the Montserret tour!! We had thought about doing the train, but for a couple of reason decided against doing that. We already have a city tour scheduled for the morning prior to boarding - so this seems like a good time to see an area we have been reading about. NOW . . . to post it on the roll-call and see if any other weary travellers want to give it a go too.

We will be arriving in Barcelona about 8:30 am the morning BEFORE our cruise. Since the hotel room more than likely would not be available until later in the day, we are wondering if it would be good use of our day to book a half-day tour from the airport - out to Montserret – then drop off at the hotel. Then the next morning before embarkation, I was thinking of doing a half-day tour of Barcelona. Has anyone done this? Would it be a good use of our time?

I don't understand what you're asking. There have been numerous photos posted of the interior of each kind of cabin. In addition, most of the balconies are identical: seen one, seen 'em all. Have you even looked at the "Everything Royal" thread?
I may be wrong but what I think the OP is asking (and certainly what I would like to see) is the actual view from the particular cabins. Especially any of those that are marked 'partial obstruction' OR 'obstructed'.

Hi Mary, We were in Auckland last month (November) and used Milestone Tours. Ewald Boss (the owner) picked us up at the airport and took us on a city tour then dropped us at our hotel. But I know he also does city tours from the port. We were very pleased. (http://www.milesgtonetours.co.nz)
