thank you for taking the time to respond.  that's exactly what i was looking for.  we didn't do the audience participation games or waterfall/balloon drops so we won't even miss that.  

we are sailing this saturday and even with reading message boards, i still don't feel i know anything about zaandam.  what should we know that i don't know?  lol

can we wear tennis shoes to climb the falls?  or do we need to rent water shoes?  thank you

thanks for the responses. we did reserved dining on regal and were not that impressed. that's why we always ended up at the horizon.

we did anytime dining on ruby and loved it!! my husband had the seafood choice every night and loved every one. desserts were amazing too. we loved our waiter so much the first night we asked for his section every night. i didn't do anytime dining on regal so i can't say anything about the lines but we never waited at all on ruby.

time to start planning next cruise!!!!

we sailed on regal in january of this year. we were amazed at how good the buffet was. there were country themed nights, and line after line of food, not to mention a whole dessert room. we just got off of the ruby and thought the horizon was horrible. same thing every day and only one horseshoe station which included all food, salad, and desserts. i was wondering if anyone knew why there was such a huge difference.

thank you. does it matter if you do inner passage or glacier bay cruise?

i got two quotes so far. both princess ships leave from seattle, the emerald is about a thousand dollars cheaper than ruby but it looks like they go to the same ports. there is inner passage, glacier, land/sea. where do i begin to sort this out? it's my husband and i and all i really know is that i want a whale watching excursion. can someone lead me to where i can get information on this? and one more question. we have gone on a few caribbean cruises where you spend the day by the pool or in our case in the shade reading. what do you do on the ship all day?

the regal princess had the huge screen tv located on the pool deck. i was wondering if the equinox had anything like that? haven't seen it in any pictures.

we were on the regal princess last january. we are going on another cruise this january. we loved the regal princess but should we try another cruise line? or stay with what we know is good. were thinking maybe celebrity or norwegian husband and i are in our early sixties. more interested in ship than ports thank you

we just returned from a cruise on the regal ship. we really enjoyed the polonia quartet every evening. i googled them but really didn't find much other than they used to be on the emerald ship. does anyone know if they are a family? or how long they will be on the regal? it was really our favorite entertainment as i found the shows in the theatre to be ...not so good

Our cruise leaves out of ft Lauderdale tomorrow Our hotel offers 2 shuttle times. One at 9:45 and the other at 12:45. Should we take one of those or get a cab?
