If you order a drink which is covered in your package, you won’t have any charges.  If you wish to order a drink that’s not covered, you’ll have to pay full price plus 15% service charge.

Thanks for the quick reply.  That how my others have alway been.  Happy that this is the same.

  2. I have purchased the Easy Plus for our Med cruise in December and I'm somewhat confused after reading some of the posts.  When I order a drink covered by the package, will I be charged an additional tax on that drink or does that only apply to non covered drinks.  I have had drink packages on other lines and never was charged anything other than the package price.

There is some chance that masks might not be required on ship if the cruise line requires everyone to be vaccinated based upon the CDC's most recent update.

if not then almost certainly some level of masking will be required this year.

That's not the way I read it.  What it says is that masks may not be required in outdoor venues on the ship and outdoor bars and food service may be allowed but nothing indoors will be mask free.  Anything indoors other than in your cabin will still require masks.

  4. She was not sensitive. The entire cabin was giving this lady the "eyes." My point was, it was loud enough for my half deaf daughter to hear it. And yes, the entire cabin. We were in the back of first class and could see every passenger. The lady was oblivious. And it was not falling asleep as this was from the instant she turned it on. As I awoke first and was giving her a moment to rectify the situation as everyone has those "oh crap, how do I turn this thing off moments" nope. Not this lady. My daughter just beat me to the shoulder tap.

The flight attendant was no where to be found to deal with the situation.

The brightness of that ipad could have landed a plane.

How did the lady respond to your daughter's "shoulder dap"? Did she turn it off or tell her something else?

  5. Typo. Deaf. And yes, she survived. Thanks for your concern.

You're welcome. Glad it was just a typo. However, since she seems so sensitive have you considered buying a pair of noise canceling headphones for her and perhaps a light canceling mask so she can sleep comfortable? Problem solved?

  6. And, now you use a typo to poke fun. You're a real peach.

And, you are very judgemental. No way to know it was a typo. Nor is there any way to know the "inconsiderate" person didn't actually fall asleep. Have you never fallen asleep while watching tv or a movie?

  7. Personally, the Elite Cocktail Party pissed me off. Every evening, the Sky lounge was taken over and the regular passengers were shown the door. That is our favorite venue on the ship to read or have a drink and enjoy sail aways. I have no problem with the occasional booking of the lounge for private events, but I thought it was rather callous of Celebrity to block it out every night.

Perhaps if you continue to cruise on Celebrity and become Elite you will change your mind.

  8. My 12 year old daughter softly whispers to me, I quote, "common sense is not a flower that blooms in everybody's garden." [emoji4]

This after my daughter had just tapped the shoulder of the adult lady sitting in front of us on our overnight flight to politely ask this lady to dim her tablet and use headphones on her ipad. The adult lady was easily in her 30s and was sitting next to her own child. It's midnight. The cabin is dark and most people are asleep or resting. Geesh!

Obviously, that lady needed some "gardening" from my 12 year old as her flowers were definitely not blooming.

Did you consider that the lady may have dozed off and had nothing to do with her "flowers". That's very easy to do on a plane or at home watching TV from a recliner and has nothing to do with being inconsiderate.

  9. Your best bet might be to bring one of those folding logo chairs from home with you that you can buy almost anywhere for a few bucks and they store in a bag with a strap. They would be easy to carry, could be taken with to the beach, and you still have the chair to take home. Not only all of that but they are also pretty comfortable.

  10. Or, the elderly who think because it's offered it must be a good deal.

That is a totally offensive statement. Why do you assume that just because someone is in the elderly group they have lost all ability to reason? Very disrespectful!!!

  11. Personally I often wear Hawaiian/Caribbean style shirts. In fact I started wearing them in the 70's before the TV show Magnum PI came on the air and made them popular (and twice the price :mad: )

I always bring a few on vacation and yes, wear them to the dining room or Blu now and then.

Just like the shirts are still popular, Magnum PI is returning to TV this fall as new series.

  12. Why would anyone be rude about receiving a tip? In what way were they rude? How strange that this occurred. This most certainly is an anomaly.

    CM

Perhaps the "tip" was their left over birthday cake that they brought back to treat their room steward.
