  1. Has anyone hired someone that would pick us up and take for a boat ride , maybe lunch on the boat. Not to go to the sting rays or where

everyone else is. Seems like I remember that their was a sand bar type area that had star fish and very shallow. Does anyone know what

    I am thinking of?

  2. First time on Celebrity, and we are booking the Aqua rooms. Do you have a set time with Blu or make a reservation each day? Also if we want to eat in the reg. dinning room, can we do that and if so what do we need to do. Also my sister read that if you wanted something that was on the main dining room and you were eating in Blu you could ask for it. Is this true? Thanks Debbie

  3. Thank you for your info. I think we have decided to do Princess Enchanted April 13, we were limited times dates etc. Also we are going to order a wheelchair because he cannot walk far but he can walk around cabin so not worring about wc cabin they seem to be hard to get. So looking at cabins on different sites and we are finding different prices etc. Some have different layers of pricing others don't. What cruise sites do you like to book thru. besides just Princess. That you can see exactly what you are getting and also maybe extra obc. Thanks

  4. Hello, never been on Princess, looking at these two for us to take our Dad, who has Alzheimer's and in wheelchair at times. He keeps

saying he wants to go on a cruise and our Mom just passed away few months ago, and thought we would try to take him before he gets worse.

So food is a big reason he wants to go, and not many kids, nice music and things to do besides the pool area Thinking of going between March and April.

Can you give me good and bad between them, is one much better than the other.

Also thinking about Celebrity Reflection but I know this is Princess thread. Thanks

  5. Following also, can I ask, we are going to St. James Park w/big luggage. You have mentioned taking Piccadilly changing at Baron's Ct. I didn't realize you can change there I thought it was just the ones like South Kensington that has the connecting circles. So which would be better and easier with luggage, we are landing at 6:45 so I would think we would be in the 8:30 morning mess. Also can we use our American Express contactless card? Thanks

  6. Trying to purchase tickets from Nationalrail which transfers me to Southwestern RR, my problem is I'm in US and it wants me to set up account to be able to sign on and when i do and put United States, it comes up and says this is wrong and should be United Kingdom even with the zip and address being US, and then I can't go any furthure. Has anyone else had this problem? Where can I purchase my train tickets, its from Waterloo WAT to Southampton Central to catch a cruise.

  7. So I have read a lot of past post, and pretty much come up with there is not much to do. But I have found govikingadventure.com that has a few exursions.

My husband was wanting to do the hike in Pulpit Rock in Stavanger but our cruise is not their long enough. So found this company that does a hike to Himakana

, mini Trolltunga. Leaves from Haugesund and is 5 hrs., 1 hr. drive there and 1 hr. hike  up. So has anyone used this company or ever been to Himakana? Or did anyone do anything else great in Haugesund. Thanks Debbie

  8. Thank you for the info about AE cards , in Norway it talks about CC with a 4 digit pin code. Even our Visa don't have a pin code. The only one that does is my visa debit card that comes directly out of my bank account which I really don't want to use. IDK maybe they do and we just need to set it up, and because its not required in US we don't have one.

If tender you cannot catch a train at 08:25 unless you arrive early.

Tour operators can only buy a certain number of tickets. Vy will have tickets for sale 120 days before departure on their website.
Check at vy.no and book from 'Flåm stasjon' to 'Myrdal stasjon' 120 days prior to your visit. Price is NOK 350 each way.

Thank you, I tried to go and look and it shows that it stops 7 times each way. Is that the same even if you buy the train tickets from Flam RR with like norwaysbest.com.

Yes. We hiked down and saw a number of bikers. The path is wide enough and the hikers give right of way to the bikers (at least they did the day we hiked).

Hey how long was the hike down. I don't ride a bike and the roundtrip on our day in Aug is already booked up except for 8:25 which I'm worried we can't get or tender early enough.

I wonder if there's a problem with dates. I think that the OP means 2 August to 6 August, but over here those dates look like 8 February to 8 June. That length of stay might well cost $1,300 in a Premier Inn.

A moment's search on the Premier Inn website (which is, according to the ads I hear, the only place to book them) shows prices from £700 for the County Hall location and from £570 for the Westminster Abbey bigger room.

Hey yes it is Aug. 2-6, also my quote for premier inn county hall from their site is the larger room with flex to be able to cancel. And it is 1079 lb.which is $1312.05 US. I have to pay the larger amount to be able to cancel because parents are not doing well and who knows.

  13. Hey so coming to London 8/2-8/6 then headed to Southhampton on 6th to get a cruise. We are doing all typical tourist stuff so will be walking alot but I have bad hip  so might not do as much as i want. Anyways what hotel and area is best, we don't really care about the room too much, mostly hope the bed is not hard as a rock and having room for our 3 luggage because of cruise. Has anyone stayed at any of these? I've looked at map but sometimes deceiving on distance. So what is easier to get to from Heathrow and also going to Southampton either from Waterloo train or Victoria coach. Lol we are on the cheaper side also but don't want to be regretting where we stay. Also paying more to be able to cancel.1st 2 are on one side of river, second 2 is on the other side but maybe not bad walking over the bridge? But would be easier to get to Waterloo with luggage? Thanks

    The Resident in Victoria- $1391.99

Hub by Premier Inn Westminster Abby, Bigger room w/breakfast -$966.71/ worried we won't have room for the luggage, fine for us personally

Premier Inn London Couty Hall w/breakfast -$1312.05

Park Plaza Westminster Bridge - $1576

  14. So for someone who doesn't dance really. What would be the best basic dancing to find on Youtube.

Or does anyone have any suggestions of who to watch.

  15.  So we are flying into London then coming to Southhampton to go out on QV. So my question is there a place next to the cruise dock, or maybe the train station that we could buy some sodas and a couple bottles of wine so we don't have to worry about carrying it with us. Thanks

  16. Hello, I am trying to figure out did anyone do this as a cruise excursion. I have been told that Norwegian only is allowing cruise excursions thru Oct. I'm also interested in Celebrity if anyone has any insight into them. What cruise ship were you on that let you get off on your on? So I'm assuming it is a cruise policy not Cozumel? Thanks
