  1. I'm planning a graduation cruise for next June. I originally was going to do the 8 day Southern on Horizon. Now I see that the Magic does an 8 day also and costs less. Just wondering if the Horizon is worth $1000 or more extra for the new ship experience. It seems like Magic has some of the same extras as Horizon. I'm looking at a suite so we can do 1 cabin for the 4 of us. Thoughts?

  2. We wanted to book this excursion from NCL. It has all very positive reviews. Our two teens will be with us. The description says 14 and over. Has anyone taken their kids on this excursion? I know there is no guarantee that there will be other kids but I wanted to know if this was more of an "adult" excursion.

    Thanks!

  3. We have the same cabin for March 2018. It seems to be in a quiet location looking at the deck plans. Looking forward to the large balcony...103 sq ft versus 32 sq ft for a regular balcony. Hopefully someone who has sailed already can tell us more.

  4. We are currently booked on the Getaway in a midship minisuite. I see that 2 minisuites with large balconies have become available. Is it worth $300 to move? I like the idea of the large balcony with the 4 of us but not sure if it's worth it? Anyone stayed in one of these cabins? Is the balcony that much bigger?

    Thanks!

  5. We stayed in an SF suite in January. We had a butler, concierge, priority boarding ( sat with the Haven guests), and breakfast and lunch in the specialty restaurants. The only things we didn't have were special seating in the theater or Haven access. We also got all of the free at sea perks.

  6. You might want to call. We are in a suite on the Pearl and at 100 days, I couldn't get a pass. I called and was told that they couldn't access it either so I should wait til 90 days. At 88 days, I still couldn't purchase a pass so I called again and they told me there was a problem with their system so a supervisor would take care of it and call me. Two days later I had my passes. $79 for 4 day pass.

  7. We have sailed both and preferred the Getaway. My kids currently 12 and 15 loved the waterslides on the Getaway and the Oasis doesn't have any. They also weren't into the flowrider or rock climbing so that limited their deck activities. We also felt overall that we liked the food on Getaway better. There are definitely more late night food choices on Getaway too. Don't get me wrong, we had a great time on the Oasis, and really enjoyed the aqua shows and ice shows but if I had to pick a favorite, it would be Getaway.

  8. I had the same issue...100 days out and only restaurant reservations available. When I called about spa passes,I was told to wait until 90 days because they couldn't book it either. At 90 days, I still couldn't book spa so I called again and they still couldn't access it so they escalated to a supervisor and she took care of it and called me the next day. So definitely call.
