Our family has journals from our grandmother's travels in the 40's, 50's and 60's. She traveled in Europe and all over the US. We get great pleasure reading about her adventures with her friends.
I have kept journals since I started international travel in the early 80's and realize that maybe one day my grandchildren will be reading them. What a wonderful gift I will leave. However, I look back and wish I had given more details - food eaten, costs of things, etc. I will keep trying to add the details.
