  1. 1987. NCL's Sunward II out of Miami to the Bahamas. Liked it so much we went back on the same ship the following year. In 1989 we booked a 7 day on the newest and largest cruise ship (at the time) in the world, RCL's Sovereign of the Seas. She made the Sunward look like a life boat, and when she left RCL's fleet she was the smallest class that they had.

  2. We are cruising on the Jewel Feb. 27th. It'll be our first cruise... Thanks so much for this review.... You've just made me very excited!!!

You picked a great ship for your first cruise. IMO the Radiance class ships are the most beautiful in RCL's fleet. We've done Radiance twice and will be on the Jewel next Monday. Really looking forward to it. Welcome to the world of cruising!:)

  3. You can catch it where the shuttle bus drops you in town. It was $2 when we were there a couple of year ago. It only ran 20 or 30 min. if memory serves. Take a camera.

Clackey is correct on the price. We were there last week and took the tour. Takes about 20 minutes or so. The busses are double deckers so be sure to sit on top as you have a much better view.:)

  4. Good Morning All,

Can any of you that have cruised EOS 5/night Key West, Cozumel and CocoCay itinerary confirm that the formal night is the second night, which is the day we are in Key West?

Thanks a bunch! Final payment made last week and now we're really, really getting excited! First Cruise ever!! :D

  5. I've researched this a bit since booking my next cruise on Enchantment, and I haven't found anything bad yet! Have fun, I know we will! :D

Since first reading this thread I've thought back over our recent cruise on her and honestly can't think of anything bad that I can say. She's a beautiful and well maintained ship and the crew are great.

  6. We were on her for the first time a couple of months ago and had a great time. We've been on the Mariner a couple of times and the Sovereign quite a bit and while we like them both, Enchantment has risen to the top of our list. The perfect size for us as we don't need or want all of the bells and whistles of the Mariner or that size ship. I'll put on my flame proof jacket and say that Mariner reminds us of a big floating hotel. A grand hotel to be sure, but still a hotel. :D The Enchantment has been stretched by almost 90 feet so she isn't a small ship and there's plenty to see and do onboard her.

You'll have a great time. Just get out there and enjoy!!:D
