YoPhilly, do you know about Informed Daily Delivery from the US Post Office?  Once you sign up for it, you will get a daily email showing scanned copies of the front of each piece of mail that will be coming to your address each day.  You will receive it even while your mail is being held.  It won't help you with what is inside the piece of mail but at least you will know what mail you are missing.  Hope this helps.

We were in cabin 10026 on the Riveria in 2015 and 10028 on her sister ship, Marina in 2016. We loved the location of 10026 so much that when we planned our next cruise on the Marina, we chose 10028. We chose 10028 over 10026 (both were available at the time of our booking) because it was a little farther away from the doors to the laundry room and the crew staircase (not shown in the deck plan on the website). Those door could slam if one was not careful. Noise was never a problem, but we were aware of the door to the crew staircase slamming in 10026. NOT a major issue, I just mention it since you seem to have a choice. The convenience to the elevator and laundry room was terrific. We would happily choose either of these cabins again.

We just got off the Marina on Oct. 15. There were no problems that we were aware of. No extra precautions, laundries fully functional, no announcements of any G.I. issues. We had a wonderful cruise experience. So how could the problem be in the ship?? It sure sounds like someone brought something on.

We have also done the Baltic cruise in July. I would ditto RickT's experience and advice about clothing. We really enjoyed all the extra hours of daylight at that time of the year. For example,on July 1 of this year in St.P, the sun will rise at 3:43 a.m. and not set until 10:23 p.m. Enjoy!

Have you investigated transport to the terminal? You have to take the water buses or walk from your hotel so take that into consideration when choosing luggage and packing.

Many hotels will be able to arrange for a public porter to walk your luggage to the People Mover. The porter shows up at your hotel, puts your luggage on a cart, then you walk with him. If I remember correctly, the charge was something like 5 EU per bag.

We were on the Riviera last month and Waves was open for lunch --- happily. And it was delicious!
