Because of the snow storm, both Urgent Care places near us were closed but I have early morning appointments at one, and if that doesn’t work out, there is another one nearby that is walk in only for the rapid test and then I have Walgreen’s again as a back up. I really don’t want to have to spend the money at the port but it is there if we need it.

I was able to get two appointments at what I think is a mobile unit set up at the port for people who were not able to be tested anywhere else. The website that reallyitsmema listed is what I used. I thought I saw that the cost was $150 per person, but whatever, I hope to be able to be tested locally tomorrow. If not, we will have this.

Same here. All four cancelled. We have two left at an Urgent Care place but I think they are closed. We have two places scheduled for tomorrow and as a last resort, we have appointments at the port in Bayonne. Good luck.

This will be my first cruise with out her. Married 60 years.

My Son and Daughter are going on the cruise with me.

 

Did your daughter finish school? A very lovely young lady.

Last year's Serenade repo did NOT visit any of the ABC islands. That is the reason that you could not leave from Bayonne and end in Fort Lauderdale.

 

You absolutely CAN do Rhapsody Bayonne to Quebec then Quebec to Bayonne. Don't give up that cruise.

Thanks. I am not worried about it. I just think it is funny that Royal keeps saying that you can't take it but every one else says that you can. I have the Anthem booked as a back up.

Yes, because you would be starting and ending at the same US port, and you would have visited a foreign port in Canada. If you start and end in the same US port, the foreign port does not have to be distant.

Sounds good, but tell that to Royal Caribbean. I booked cruises 1&2 and 1,2&3 when we were just on the Anthem. The NC rep said that cruises 1&2 could not be booked as consecutive cruises. I called Royal when we got home on Saturday. The rep thought that the two cruises would be fine but checked with his supervisor who checked with resolutions and came back and said that the two cruises violated the act. I mentioned the Serenade cruise last year but the only thing different was the overnight in Quebec on the second cruise and he said that made a difference. The Bayonne to Quebec and then Quebec to Florida last year violated the act also. I wonder if the January 1st change that doesn't allow cruises to nowhere had a clause that covers these cruises and that is another reason why they are saying they are not allowed.

Since these cruises are not until next year, I am not worried but I would like to know.

Any news yet on the Anthem 12N for December 2, 2017 yet? Listed on the "Adventure Collection" and Cruise-Cal but nowhere else yet. Asked on-board last week, but they didn't know anything either.

So far Diamond Plus still allowed in CL on the 4/30 sailing on the Anthem. It was not crowded tonight at all. Usually it is very crowded the first night.

We are on the anthem as well. We saw those folks sitting in the chairs 90% of the time. The only comment I have is at times they were big group and sometimes loud. They were always respectful. We sat next to them.

We are still [emoji3] on the Freedom and were at the top tier event a little while ago. Word is tomorrow for C&A members. I hope so! I've had appointments everyday in anticipation. Sandra, the Loyalty Ambassador also left us a Voicemail message confirming this.

Weird. I would not have even called C&A tonight if I hadn't heard from my friend. She couldn't book a SJS for two cruises because they weren't in their system but I booked an OS for those two cruises.

I booked all of my Anthems tonight. I called the C&A number. The two Rhapsody cruises I wanted are not in their system 10/1 and 10/11 but they don't know why.

We met the Captain this morning. He is Captain Henrik from the Quantum. Not sure of the spelling or last name. He said that he is just filling in for about 3 weeks so I am not sure of his last date. Captain Claus will be back after him, according to him.

I was able to make all of mine for March of 2016 but it was too early for June of 2016. I was told to check back in a few months.

There is a 3 night cruise March 4th.

 

Prices I got: none include the 93.09 tax/fees so add that in.

 

FJS 708pp/390pp

SJS 675pp

D1 626pp/287pp

D3 588pp

D8 532pp

 

The price for the FJS is less than the price I got for the 2 night Quantum cruise in Nov 2014 in a D (I did not book at opening).

And the price for the GS on the Anthem for the 3 night is less than the FJS I have on the 3 night Quantum.

I had to call for the prices. I can only tell you 2 prices.

Family JS-- $801.09 includes taxes and port fees

GS---------- $929 includes taxes and port fees

I can tell you a couple of prices for Nov 30th 12 night (I think it was 12 nites)

GS $6953.52 for two including D discount of $350 and includes the port taxes.

Spa JS $5341.56 including all of above info. There were about 13 GS's available half an hour ago. I would assume that the March costs would be about the same. We aren't booking mainly because of the drive up and the weather mid December might be iffy. Sticking to the Freedom in Pt Canaveral.

I'm considering switching to 1320 - I found some deck plans where it does seem like 1320 is more centered on the hump and therefore has a bigger balcony than 1314. They were not the official Royal deck plans, though, so who knows if they're accurate.

 

All this angst over a balcony it'll probably be too cold to use. :D I'm sure I will love the cabin either way.

Looking at the diagram in the book, it looks like the balconies for 1314 and 1320 would be the same size. We loved the location for 1320 because it was right by the elevators but the door is right by the opening for the stairs and elevators so not as private as 1314. If both cabins had been available, we would have taken 1314 because it is the mirror image of 1320 and that is the

bed set up we would have wanted. You can't go wrong with either one.

We are on the March 29th cruise and get off when you get on and we intend to be on the balcony. It will be fine.
