Anyone any guesses as to when next round of cancellations will be announced? I am presuming that month by month cancellations will go ahead for a while - I cant remember when the last round of cancellations was announced but they are up to June 12th  - right? (due to sail July 11th!)

Carnival Cruise Line plans to resume sailing on Aug. 1, potentially ending the pause in operations that began after coronavirus outbreaks on several ships.

  2. Well I just started to surf the NCL site on the thought of trying a cruise, but after reading a lot of the posts and a vast amount of complaints regarding all the changes and upcharges I think I'll pass.

  3. MIAMI (AP) — A 20-year-old man has died after falling from a mast on a Carnival Cruise Lines ship docked at Miami's port.

Carnival officials said Monday that the man went into a restricted area aboard the Carnival Ecstasy and climbed a forward mast, then fell onto the deck below. He was later pronounced dead at a hospital.

Miami-Dade County police say the man's fall was the equivalent of two decks of the ship.

Police also say there's no evidence of foul play. The man's identity was not immediately released.

  4. Just was going thru the medjet annual membership I found this statement

Due to the limited medical facilities and testing available on cruise ships, the Member must be admitted to a hospital on shore before scheduling medical transport to another hospital.

So I thinking medjet might not be a good fit for a cruise
