Thanks everyone! My husband will be leaving his suit jacket at home so there is more room in the suitcase for snorkel and fins lol.
I don't think snorkel and fins would be allowed in the MDR! 😁

Hello,, can you tell me how you submitted a special dietary request form? Its not on the personalizer or Ocean Read app.
I too need to adivse them of the sodium restriction I am on.
Any help from you will be appreciated..
Try this link and scroll down to the bottom. https://www.princess.com/learn/faq/onboard/dining-and-nightlife/ It will have a link in the FAQ to the correct place in cruise personalizer. I don't currently have a cruise booked so I can't guide you further.

Glad to hear it! Now I just hope it lives up to expectations; my mother had a philosophy of expecting the worst, then when anything better happens, she felt great!
Absolutely! Pessimists are never disappointed. 😄

It really shouldn't be this hard to communicate with HAL's website, especially trying to give them money!
That's exactly what I said when I finally got my transaction to complete. I finally downloaded the Firefox browser and it worked just fine. They (HAL) really need to fix their website problems. 65% of the world uses Chrome as their browser. That's a lot of revenue they may be missing or at least delayed in receiving.

Tried logging in with Edge...no joy! Same issue. I don't think it's a browser issue.

Yes, Terms accepted! The problem is on the payment page.

I thought it might be their credit card processor that was down so I tried to make a payment on a cruise I have booked for next year and it let me enter the credit card info there so I guess that's not it.
BTW: Shore Excursions 1-888-425-9376 or 1-206-626-7320
Monday - Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm (Pacific Time)

Glad to know I'm not the only one. It's been going on for me since yesterday too.

Is there a trick to booking shore excursions or is the website having issues? When I go to "Complete Transaction" it will not allow me to enter any credit card information. The credit card field is gray and noting can be entered. I thought I'd ask here before I call just to see if there is something special I need to do. Wiggle my nose, snap my fingers or click my heels three times!

Of course it's naïve. They are the type to reduce the grats even knowing how many people share it. They are the same type of person who will argue that the cruise line should pay the crew decent wages and to include the grats in the base fare, where they wouldn't be able to selfishly lower them for their own benefit. Whether the grats are paid as an additional cost or rolled up in the base fare, the passengers ALWAYS pay the crew's wages. Where do these people think those wages come from? The cruise fairy?
And a note to those naïve people - the passengers pay ALL THE EXPENSES to run a cruise line, including the original cost of the ships, the fuel to make them move, the captain and his staff to safely pilot the ships, the maintenance to keep them operating, the food for all the meals, the advertising to entice customers to book their cruises, the company management who make the decisions, and every other single item or service that is necessary to run a cruise line.
Thank you for expanding so eloquently on the point I was making. You have framed the issue perfectly.
Living in a market driven capitalist county I am continually astounded by how some people have no concept of how a businesses actually operate. There does seem to be a lot of magical thinking at play sometimes.

Apparently they expect the passengers to pay for their crew almost entirely.
This has to be the most naïve comment I've seen in a long time. Think about what you are saying. 🙄
Of course the passengers are paying ALL of the crew's salary.

How does one notify Princess about a low-sodium diet being required? This is not one of the options in the dining preferences. Is there another method besides the app? Anyone's experiences with low-sodium dining would be appreciated. Thanks!

In my experience rooms are usually ready between 1:00 - 2:00 PM.

You will have a dedicated area of the MDR, 1 additional entrée option and a special check-in line at the M' atre D station. I think Club Orange dining is only worth it on Pinnacle Class ships because it has it's own area and includes breakfast.
Thanks for your perspective/opinion re: Club Orange, however, I was inquiring about a fact. I understand how Club Orange works.
Does anyone know for certain which section of the main dining room is reserved for Club Orange? Where does one enter, on the main floor (deck 4) or the balcony (deck 5)?
-
Where exactly is the Club Orange dining on the Zaandam? I know that on the non-Pinnacle class ships it is usually just a section of the main dining room. Does anyone know where in the main dining room on the main floor or the balcony? Thanks in advance for any answers.

I'm sorry but I must point out that anything besides Gin or Vodka and Vermouth (dry or sweet) is NOT a Martini. Anything else in a martini style cocktail glass is not a Martini but a cocktail!

Those are not hardly the entry level lower cost suites I was mentioning.
Penthouse Suites are the lowest category true suite on NCL (in or outside The Haven) . Every one that I have been in have a coffee machine, (Saeco or Nespersso) and a dining table with chairs.

In the before time (via the way-back-machine) one used to be required to surrender your passport at most European hotels for the duration of your stay. This used to be a very common practice. Personally I've only been required to give up my passport in South America and the Mediterranean with stops in Turkey and Egypt. In Egypt we were required to carry our passports with us onshore on an overnight tour.

Ocho Rios, Jamacia is the only cruise port where I've had someone try to sell me drugs in the daytime while crossing the street. 😮
I won't even consider booking a cruise with a stop in Jamacia. I just don't want any of my $$$ supporting the persecution of the LGBT community.
