Thanks!  So you weren't stuck in traffic after dropping peeps off, heading to rental car drop off?  

Has anyone returned a car to Avis rental in Port Canaveral recently?  We will be sailing on the Harmony at the end of the month.  Wondering if we drop our peeps off at ship before returning car, or return car and all shuttle to the ship.  There is 6 of us.

My son and DIL are there on their honeymoon!  So glad I found your post, so I can see the ship, ports and looks like beautiful weather!  Today they are planning on snorkeling in St Kitts.  I think for St. Thomas they were going up the mountain on the lift.   They have always cruised with us, seems so weird we are not with them!  But understand, being their HONEYMOON!  lol!  Thanks again for posting!

Thank you. So basically if we took the free drinks as part of the free at sea, we are not saving much. Being the sailaway deals 499.00 balcony room, then buy the package. for drinks 89.00 per person per day.....or the 599.00 balcony but includes the free at sea drinks and specialty rest. Sorry, I am used to Royal, just seems this is a little more involved! so the gratuity are 17.00 a person a day (for housekeeping, wait staff, etc)?

Hello. Have never sailed NCL before and looking at a few sail dates on the Sun in March. Seems there is a deal where you get free unlimited bar? Also can someone tell me what the tips are per person, per day? Have a message to my travel agent for a price and answers....But know that Cruise Critic peeps are quicker to answer :).

Any recent Anthem cruisers who have had flights out of EWR about 11am? What is the normal time the Anthem docks and allows ppl off with their own luggage? Wanting to fly home at 11am, instead of 3pm.....Thanks for any opinions!!

I stayed at the Courtyard Newport in Jersey City for a wedding. I have not stayed at the Courtyard Elizabeth, but I know folks who have stayed there a number of times. I have stayed at Country Inns which is across the Street. I recommend these two hotels plus Embassy Suites and Residence Inn on International Blvd all the time.

Ragen, thanks for the reply. Our trip is Dec 18th, with Cozumel and Coco Cay stops. We have heard of ships not stopping there bc of weather. Enjoying the review by your DW :)

Hmmm. We are also Explorer. We also have 2 cabins like yours..But when I printed it, it only shows the name of the adult cabin? Not the one next to it... I even went back to make sure the proper boxes were checked, saying the adult cabin is responsible...Any thoughts before I try calling Royal?

Thanks everyone for the info! Still not sure what to do....Cotrans does not pick up at the Caribe Royal, where we are staying pre cruise. Plus I notice they have set times. Big G, I am thinking Cocoa Beach would send a small bus just for our group, being we have 11? They are actually one of the companys we were considering....

Just want to make sure who every we choose, they show up on time! Plus we have been told to pay cash when we are picked up, do not give CC ahead of time...

We have 11 people, needing shuttle to Port Canaveral Dec 18th. I have searched and read MANY reviews on different companies. They seem to be good and bad for each company. Plus some are several years old..... So I am posting here, hoping some one has used a shuttle recently, at least in the last year. Any opinions or info would be great! Thanks in advance!

"Skinny Dip", by Carl Hiaasen is great! Hope they make a movie out of it....Starts off with her husband throwing her over board a cruise ship! very funny, fast paced book...

Another great book, but is a very serious book is " My sisters Keeper" by Jodi Picoult...A fast read when you start, I am sure this could be made into a great movie also..
