Of course we checked with the cabin stewards. They very kindly looked into it further and were told by higher ups that there is no Diet (or regular) Mountain Dew onboard.

On the Quest now. Requested diet Mt. Dew ahead of sailing but upon boarding were told it is not available.

Thank you both very much -- information from first hand experience is the best and much appreciated.

Thank you SanteFe1 -- that helps a lot.

Hi, Jim
With regards to Devil's Island -- did you have to present your yellow fever vaccine paperwork to be able to go ashore? Were those without proof or who had a waiver made to stay onboard?
Thanks.

Thanks for you information. I just did some research and the company's tours would work great for pre cruise. However, I was concerned about several reviews that were posted. How long ago did you use them and it seems like you were pleased with their service, etc. There was a mention of another company that did this, but don't know who that was.
Any information is greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Dor
Our most recent experience with Let's Tour Seattle was September 2016. For us, it was a great means to an end -- we got from the airport area to the port/downtown hotel and got to see and learn about Seattle in the process.

On two different visits we have used "Let's Tour Seattle" (http://letstourseattle.com/) for pre-cruise city tours -- they picked us (and our luggage) up at our airport area hotel and after the tour dropped us at the cruise terminal one time; the other we were dropped at a downtown hotel.
On both tours, before starting to see the sights, we went by the cruise terminals to pick up debarking folks joining our tour. At the end of the tour, after we were dropped off, the departing folks were taken to the airport.
Both times the tour the guide was quite informative and we had a nice time. Will probably to it again next time we are headed for a cruise out of Seattle.

We ordered room service breakfast four times on our recent Maasdam cruise and none of the trays came with flowers -- we noticed their absence.
And, Neptune suite flowers are indeed pitiful these days.

How about
*Making the second wine tasting free for 5*
*Make the wine corkage fee a sliding scale based on stars...3* 25% off, 4* 50% off, 5* 75% off...
*Add a beverage card for 4*/5* -- while not free, it doesn't cost HAL much for a few cups of coffee or glasses of soda

We did a pre-cruise tour with them in May. They picked us up at our hotel (Crowne Plaza) right on time and even called ahead to tell us they were on their way.
The driver and hotel bellman moved our luggage from the lobby to the bus. It was a smaller, shuttle-type bus and I had worried about luggage space, but it all fit in the back.
We and another couple picked up ahead of us were the only ones on the bus which was great -- we could each have a window seat and the huge bouquet of flowers we bought at the market the day before had its own seat to ride in.
We saw all the sights, made several stops, and got to the ship at Pier 91 after the initial rush but in plenty of time for lunch.
I have already recommended them to a friend who is sailing out of Seattle next month.
Quest Overpriced Tender
in Seabourn Cruise Line
Posted
We were on that sailing as part of the Grand South America cruise. The tender was not going to cost anything. Don't know where you got the idea there would have been a charge to go to Ile Royale, had we been able to make the stop. All tenders, everywhere, were never a charge. The $180 was for an optional ZODIAK outing to neighboring Ile Saint-Joseph. No one is allowed on Devil's Island. In the end, rough seas prevented anyone from going ashore.
