Has anyone used Marcello Maresca recently for an Amalfi coast tour? All the reviews I am finding are old.

I didn't see a ton of taxi's - only a few. I believe that folks took the bus or rented a car. It will also depend on where you anchor. There are two bays. If you anchor in Cooks Bay, there aren't any beaches that I can remember.

 

We anchored in Opunohu Bay. You will tender to the Northwest corner of the bay. There is a beach on the Northeast side. It might take an hour or so to walk casually. After our cruise, we stayed at the Hilton and the beach was very close to the Hilton's entrance - probably just under a mile. I ran by it a few times and it looked beautiful and peaceful.

Denise - Where is the closest place to rent a car. We are anchoring off of Opunohu Bay. I was going to reserve a rental car in advance. Would we need to take a taxi to pick up a rental car?

I hope they change the smoked glass mirror to clear mirror above the desk area so you can see yourself to put on makeup or do your hair. Been on this ship twice and I absolutely hate the smoked colored mirror. The smoke colored mirror above the bed is ok, just not for the makeup mirror area.

Has anyone recently used Tony's for a Car or Jeep rental? If so, how was your experience? Where did you have to go to pick up vehicle?

Hello to those on-board. We are sailing May 9th and just wondering if HAL offered water by the case once you board ship. I called HAL and they did not offer this in advance like NCL does. Thank you!

Definitely call them back if you have the UDP. When I booked ours online it showed a price of $35.39 and I paid $106.17 for 3 even though I knew it was wrong (wanted a particular day and time and didn't want to lose it). I called the next morning and it took a supervisor to confirm that it is supposed to be $26.54 per person with the UDP (25% discount). She fixed it and issued me a credit. For some reason, the supervisor was the only one who could see the correct price of $26.54 at that time. It wasn't until a day or two later that I could see it when I logged into my account.

Thank you all for your help! I called NCL back and after being on hold for 30 minutes they confirmed it should be 25% off reg price. It did take a Supervisor to get it straightened out.

I just booked all of our dining & entertainment today for our Nov 28th sail date. I thought if you have UDP package we would only pay an up charge for the dinner show "For The Record". I called NCL and was told that The dinner show was not included in the UDP. I think that is so wrong. Price for two floor tickets was $70.78 including gratuity. That also means we only really get 6 nights of specialty dining instead of 7 unless we want to eat two dinners that night, which I could not do.

Any one else run into this same issue?
