So I got home from medical at about 1030 last night and received all the appropriate tests as well as medication for my chest congestion, my cough and my urinary track infection. front desk called to find out what arrangements we had made to quarantine me in Fort Lauderdale. We were completely in the dark about having to do that so luckily for them we have our car here at the cruise port and we’re driving to our house in Orlando. The biggest obstacle is to get us from the ship to our car which now is at a completely different terminal, without infecting anybody. Once again I think everybody for the encouragement and support throughout these last three days of what was otherwise an amazing celebrity cruise vacation.  My biggest worry now is I’m hoping and praying that my husband‘s not infected. As soon as we get home and will be able to safely social distance until I receive a negative Covid test. But I’m afraid yes he hasn’t been infected over the last 2 1/2 days isolated in a cabin with me…then to drive home in a small car both of us double masked may not be enough. To all my Fellow cruisecritics and especially to Parkerson thank you for being my communication support and lifeline during this crisis.

You all have to understand how much I love the celebrity brand and how much it pains me to be on here making such negative posts. However, the treatment has been completely unbelievable with the lack of information. The crew are working tirelessly definitely a problem with the administration and how they are handling this crisis. 

Thank you to everyone I am just finishing up in medical and I have asked them repeatedly to please retest my husband. So far they are saying no that it’s up to the CDC Shoreside. Tomorrow morning.

Thank you to Parkerson I’m sure it’s your car that made a difference. I will update when I’m out of here.

Finally after two days I am in medical. Just got husbands results back he tested negative however after being quarantined in the cabin with me for two days I’m sure he’s infected now.

I hope you both are okay and get home safely.  We're supposed to go out on the 9th Edge, and i'm feeling we may reconsider.

finally just got a call from medical and its 8pm... they said they are coming to take me for further tests and address a UTI that I reported first thing this morning. I will update when I have more info. Still no results on husbands covid test.

we have been calling all day and cant get them to pick up... I finally stuck my head in the hallway and called the room attendant and they brought their supervisor... they promised to get someone to talk to us and that was several hours ago

Parkerson can you please call me at cabin 8197 and share some info with me... we are very distressed and can't get any staff to answer our calls.

I would also like to know where your headache was dollyd and if you still have it.

still have the headache and its mostly in the front.... thinking maybe its from all the unanswered calls and questions and huge disappointment with Celebrity in how they are leaving us in the dark. 

update... as I mentioned I tested positive last night and heard nothing until 3pm today... they showed up and tested husband and now we are waiting for his results. No one has checked on us, and no one has showed up to take me to medical. We were told last night that I would be brought to medical for chest xray and bloodwork and that hubby would be tested. Other than the food being delivered via room service we have seen or heard from no one. We can't even get guest relations to answer the phone. All we want now is information. 

Question... do you think they will upgrade us to the faster internet so we can watch something or contact our family? If so how would I go about asking and setting it up? We can't seem to get guest relations to answer the phone at all.

any updates are appreciated... we are still in the cone of silence from celebrity... no info at all and still waiting for husband to get tested.

We had our latest booster just at the end of October. I am worried that my hubby will catch this from me because I am coughing quite a bit and the mask seems to making my coughing worse. He's on the balcony and I am inside.

I began feeling a little off on dec 30. At first I thought the cough was due to the AC because I really thought the booster would have me covered. But then the headache set in and wasn't reacting to the tylenol. Cough worsened through the night on Dec 31 and decided I needed to get tested. My husband is still waiting to get tested and so are my sister and her hubby( now isolated in their cabin) I really appreciate any and all communication on here because the ship is not giving us any info.
