  1. Thanks...feeling much better :) We're in for more storms tomorrow, but I have Cubs tickets so I'm hoping they hold off. I'll go even if the weather gives me another migraine.

LOL I feel the same when I have Phillies tickets. DH hesitates when he sees the rain, I just go and get wet! True fans don't let a bit of water keep them from their team, eh?

Part 10 was great as usual. I'll be sorry when it's over but I'll just have to go back and read from the beginning. I do that with a good book. Buzz through then go back and savor. Your reviews are like good books!

  2. Another great installment Nicole. I agree, I don't care for Nausau either. We ended up there once when our itinerary got changed and we didn't find out about it until the last minute (our fault, not the ships) and all the excursions were gone for Atlantis. We just walked around town for a bit and went to the straw market. Never again. If we ever end up in Nausau again I'm doing the aquarium tour like you did or stay on the ship and enjoy the quite. At least I won't feel like I'm about to be set upon as I walked down the street. And we had nice weather;):D;)

  3. Nicole: What a treat!! I was so busy the other day I never got the chance to log on to the computer. So last night when I finally found the time I logged on to read part 7 and lo and behold, there was also part 8!!!

I am having a really stressful week and your reviews have been a welcome treat. Nice to lose myself on Miracle and in your writing. Keep going. You're doing really great!!! Carnival should hire you to write their literature. Sales would really boost!!

  4. For real...when I saw them on our January cruise, I almost slapped myself in the forehead for not thinking of them sooner! Even plain 'ol clothes pins would probably do the trick. But these are cheap and SO cute. And they work fantastically. Technically, you could get two sets and clip the top AND sides and your towel will not budge an inch anywhere unless the chair gets swept up into a hurricane.

LOL...I'm always in BB&B and have seen those clips and for some reason never thought to pick them up. Now watch, I won't be able to find them! LOL

Looking forward to parts 6 and beyond. Keep cruising Nicole. You're reviews are getting me through to my November Miracle cruise. I can't wait. When we went last July we left out of NY too. As we sailed past the Statue of Liberty I felt awe struck. My grandparents & great grandparents looked at this too as they sailed from Italy to their new life in America many many years ago. What a cool feeling.

  5. You know, I always thought Wrigley Field and Cubs tickets were bad until the thought entered my mind to go to a Yankees game. Cubs tickets are horribly overpriced for the condition of Wrigley Field (which I adore, but is in horrible need of some upgrades), but nothing compared to Yankee Stadium. The only seats available were $900/each! Ouch! The BEST seats at Wrigley go for less than $200!

Jeez...the best available tix at Citizen's Bank Park here in Philly are around 60 bucks! I think I'm glad to be a baseball fan here, not to mention we're WORLD CHAMPS!!! and 4 games up on the NY Mets....AGAIN.!!!!

    Sorry, couldn't help myself:D:D

  6. Thank you! Isn't the Miracle a great ship? Something about her seems to bring everyone back to her. I don't know that any other ship could make me want to come back JUST for the ship, if nothing else. I'm hoping to sail her again if not this January, the January after to make it to St. Lucia (we missed it when the Miracle had a broken azipod). Right now, we're starting to focus on our annual May trip, and it's looking like it's going to be the Dream for us. It'll be kind of weird being on a ship that ISN'T the Miracle.

Yes, I really love Miracle. November will only be my 3rd cruise. Besides Miracle last July we were on Princess 10 years ago for our 15th anniversary. When we decided on a cruise for our 25th we were looking at RCL just to try something different.

But when we saw the itinerary for this Nov cruise with 3 islands we've never been to we decided to do Carnival again. It was a very pleasant surprise that it happened to be Miracle. We really didn't plan it that way but I was very pleased.
