  1. Just got off the Allure (8 day Caribbean cruise). We docked in FLL on Saturday May 28. I live in Palm Beach county so no airport or flights home. Less than 2 days later Mon May 30 I became symptomatic and tested positive for Covid. The timing leads me to conclude I was infected while on board Allure during the latter days of the cruise. Immediately went into self isolation. Symptoms match what one would experience with a severe cold. A little concerned that the cruise lines are not being transparent about Covid. No questions about Covid on the post cruise survey - ignorance is bliss.

  2. I all. Love this board because so many people step right up to help when anyone has questions. My wife and I are sailing on the Allure leaving this Friday 4/21. Question 1 Are any of the dining rooms open for lunch on embarkation day?

Question 2 Regarding Voom. If I purchase a Voom pkg for myself and 2 devices,  can I use one device and my wife use another?  Not sure how you connect to Voom. I fear it may require connecting via the Royal App on your own device thus preventing my wife connecting via her own  iPhone/iPad I hope I explained this accurately.

Thank in advance for the assistance.

  3. Any reports and updates as to what’s happening in the onboard casinos? Is there full seating at the tables (blackjack, 3 card poker, etc.) are table minimums high due to limited seating?  Are all the slots in use or are some not playable due to social distancing between machines?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

  4. I, too, was on this cruise. Park in garage at T2. I am not sure Princess ever had a Royal class ship dock T21 before. It seemed the gangways couldn’t line up properly. The gangway at Deck 7 was very steep getting off, almost dangerously so. The gangway from Deck 4 seemed awfully steep going up. We were assigned to wait in Princess Live for a 6:55 scheduled disembarkation. No employee showed up in the room until almost 8:00. Very poor communication on Princesses part. It also seemed that people just started getting in line on their own (ignoring luggage color). In the terminal there was plenty of people waiting for luggage that had yet to be unloaded. Very dissatisfied with Princess at this disembarkation. Took a cab to the T2 garage and went to the north elevators. Avoided the chaos at the south elevators. After 30+ Princess cruises worst disembarkation ever
