  1. Hello 😎

Planning Panama cruise on Emerald Princess New Locks.

We usually pick Aloha forward deck fully covered balcony.

Cruise on the Grand Princess a lot out of SF.

Caribe deck balcony for this cruise is same price 1/2 covered but larger same area fwd.

For the canal is it better view to be in lower deck 10 vs deck 12?

Looking forward to this trip 2nd time for me but has been 20yrs 1st time for hubby😀

    Thank you

  2. Yes Keith it is. Parking is now run by Impark. 80 Francisco street.

It is a 0.3 mile walk to pier 27 about 7 minutes. Thanks to the Princess Cruises board we will drop our luggage off first, drop the car off & then walk to Grand Princess [emoji847][emoji847][emoji847]

This was much cheaper for the two of us then renting a Sedan,Supper-shuttle etc... which were round trip for $300+. Ouch!!

  3. This is the first time we are driving ourselves to the San Francisco Pier 27. We have reserved parking at garage 80.

We would like to drop off our main luggage at the pier first and then go to the parking garage and walk back together.

So I was just wondering if they would allow us to just drop our luggage off thank you[emoji846]

  4. Just an FYI

There is no longer cruise parking at garage 55

My husband and I decided to drive our car this time.

It is the first time we are doing cruise parking so we ended up in garage 80 for $18 a day.

I called garage 55 and they stated they no longer offer Cruise parking.

  5. We are on a cruise in March on the Grand Princess going to Mexico. The US state department currently has warned against traveling to Mexico. Anyone currently on the Grand noticed anything while you were in Mexico. So far our itinerary is still the same on the Princess website.

    Happy Cruising

  6. Hi[emoji3]

Going on Mexico cruise March 13,2018 out of San Francisco.

Hubby will be Ruby level this cruise & I am Elite.

We are currently booked with balcony cabin on Aloha deck.

We are thinking about moving to mini-suite on Dolphin deck. Or Caribe deck balcony.

Is it a big concern that balcony is not covered on Dolphin for this time of year?

Never have done Mini suite is it worth it for the extra space to splurge.

Are there any extra perks? It's rare for my husband to offer to spend a little extra[emoji6].

We got the Sip & Sail promotion which saved us a lot of $ for trip.

    Thank you. Happy cruising [emoji227]

  7. We were also on this cruise and had a great time[emoji3]. It was my 4th time & my husbands 2nd time to Alaska. The Grand was a nice ship. So many people say it is run down & pick on the littlest things in reviews about this ship. We enjoyed the miniature golf course on board & the shows as they were new for us. We bundled up for Movies Under The Stars with some great Mexican Ponchos my husband got from his dad. They are toasty warm!

We had a blast, was one of the more relaxing cruises we have had. We only did the train in Skagway because it was my hubby first time at that port.

    Love your review[emoji177]

  8. Hi

Need info for parking for the day in SF.

Our kids will be doing the BVE for our cruise on May 11th as they are our ride into the city. After they want to hang out in SF for the day.

I was hoping to reserve a parking spot for them in advance.

Is it ok to use services like Spot hero, Park Wiz...etc? I was hoping to reserve at 55 garage. Their direct website does not let you book for the day.

    Thank you [emoji2]

  9. Hi :D

A big thank you goes out to Always Cruisin for posting the BVE list.

I had called Princess before for our San Francisco cruise on May 11th.

I guess I got a rep that did not know what it was & he told me it was not offered for our cruise :(

After I saw the post with the list & saw it was offered on our cruise, I called Princess again:)

This time I got a great representative who knew exactly what I was talking about :D

The kids are now booked and very excited to becoming on board with us.

It is a nice thing to do for them since they will be dropping us off :)

Thank you Judy at Princess for knowing your stuff :D
