  1. Welcome everyone!  I am very much looking forward to this cruise and experiencing the "Carnival Fun Italian Style".  I loved the reveal that Carnival did a few weeks ago of what was going to be added to the ship and what they are keeping from the Costa brand.  The ship looks incredible and something totally different than what we are used to with Carnival ships!  It will be me and my husband on this sailing.  This will be our 13th cruise, well unless i manage to squeeze another one or two in before October!  We are both in our 40's and from the Pittsburgh PA area.  Who else is joining us?

  2. Mike do you have to make a reservation for the shuttle bus in port canaveral?

We would like to go to cocoa beach, is this the best way to go? And I like that you can go to walmart and get more supplies if you like. And can I tell you how refreshing it it to see someone actually respond to everyone, thank you for that.

When we were on the Pride in May we took the Carnival Excursion to Coco Beach. If I remember right it was about $15/person. You could choose your departure time I think it was 8am, 9am or 10am. But once the shuttles started running they went back and forth from coco beach to the port about every 15minutes. This shuttle drops you off in the parking lot of Ron Jon Surf Shop. From here there was a drug store, CVS I think it was, normal beach shops, fast food, banks. I didn't see a walmart. For those of you that are drinkiners and want a cheap day at the beach. There's a 7-11 right next to the public beach access where you are dropped off. Go in get a 6 or 12 pk of your favorite beer, buy a 5 dollar styrofoam cooler and a bag of ice. We lucked out when we were there...or maybe they just do this to make sure everyone stays hydrated, but we got a free case of bottled water when we bought the beer. After a few hrs in the sun and a 12 pk of miller lite later we were definately feeling it, and made our way back to the pride. The cutoms lady laughed at us when we told her our story carring a bunch of water bottles in our newly bought styrofoam cooler, and more in my beach bag. I think she was just suprised we drank the whole 12 pk! LOL

  3. Very neat...I'm glad someone knew where the one was located on the Miracle. We will be on her in September, although it seems from it's location we would have found it on our own. Anyone know where it is located on the Pride, Sensation, or Inspiration? We were on all of those and im curious now :) Also i'm glad I learned something new about this very neat tradition!

  4. Well I tried attached pics of what I did to our door on our halloween cruise last year but i cant figure it out. I had that spider web stuff pulled over it and then i put Caution tape on it as well. I just used sticky tack to keep it in place. Then for the other two cabins in our group, I decorated thier doors with Steelers decorations. It was so easy to find our room quickly and easily....especially after long days on the lido deck with buckets o' beer. For our first cruise, we had 8 cabins in our group since it was for our wedding. I made each cabin a door knob hanger out of foam(cheap and easy at any craft store). I wrote the names of the occupants on them with puff paint so when we were looking for each other we knew what rooms to go to! If i can figure out the pics i'll get some on here later.
