Can I text from my iphone while on the ship  to someone with iphone still in US without buying a plan. 

This may seam like a crazy question.  I am asking because we are flying in February.  Our flight times don't concern me, it's the origination and stops of the flights that we are taking.  Since we leave early evening there are more chances of delays etc due to weather  I would like to know if the planes may be coming in from somewhere that have a much higher chance of snow/ice than these places do. We are looking at Southwest flights out of Greenville SC layover in Atlanta then on to Orlando.  Is there a site that I can look at that gives the origination of the plane for the day.  Like can I take my flight # and trace it backwards from GSP and the same with the ATL flight?  Like I said crazy question.  Trying to avoid BWI if possible.  Any help would be appreciated.  This may not make since.  We are cutting it close with getting to Orlando and the thought of taking the last flight out of the day really bothers me!

I've read a numerous things concerning the liquors that are available with the Adult Ultimate Beverage Package.  I do love my Bailey Irish Cream in coffee at dinner.  I read on some boards that it is not included in the ultimate beverage package and this is new in the last month (January 2019).  The price of a shot of Baileys is less than the $15 limit they have on drinks.  Would someone that has cruised on the EPIC in the last 2 weeks please comment.  I do see that they exclude designated Super Premium brands that are subject to change in the terms and conditions.  Is Baileys one that is excluded???  I sure hope not!!

Which suites are considered "deluxe suites" on Carnival Elation? Specifically are grand suites considered deluxe?

We paid $39 + 18% gratuity per night (prepaid online before travel) on our recent Anthem cruise. I believe this was a 33% discount. It was full price onboard.

 

If it's convenience you are after, it makes no difference if you have a package or not. They swipe your room keycard (SeaPass) for every drink, and you pay at the end of the cruise. You will need to sign the receipt if you don't have a package, but that's the only difference. Even with a package, you sometimes need to sign anyway...

You can pre-register a credit card if you want to just auto checkout at the end of the cruise, or join the queue to pay cash etc.

 

 

Twinkle, where did you find the $39 + 18% gratuity package

If I purchase the beverage package prior to cruising will I be charged sales tax? I know I will be charged gratuities.

We are wanting to go from Tortola to Jost Van Dyke or from St Thomas to Jost Van Dyke. But do not want to pay an arm and a leg to the cruise line. Has anyone used this ferry service?

Sunshine did not have tortilla chips the last time we were on there. They have a huge salsa bar and no chips. It can't be because of the humidity since other ships have them on the buffet with the burgers etc that is outside.

We did a back to back in 2014 and they delivered the alcohol that last night of the first cruise. We had it for the second cruise. May of 2015 alcohol that I purchased during the first cruise was delivered to the room the last night but cabin steward removed it until the last night of the second cruise. We were the only back to backers! :( Both were on the Fantasy

Thanks. This is one of the Carnival Journey cruises. Doesn't sail until next May and now only interior rooms listed online. I'm glad to know that they can't "downgrade" us. I was afraid they could since the change in passenger number leaves 2 empty beds. I can see only interior rooms, should I assume that Carnival has others-just not selling right now?

3 of us booked a quad over a year in advance of sailing. The ship is almost sold out. We don't sail for 8 more months. One person moved to another room after her husband decided to go. What are the chances Carnival will move us to another room? It is occupancy restricted. :rolleyes: If they do move us will we get to choose the room? Their web site says only interior rooms are left. We have an ocean view. Will we be able to keep an ocean view? And will they let us know ASAP or will they wait until check in??

Just off of the Fantasy today in Charleston, SC. One piece of luggage was lost, it made it off the ship onto the porters cart, through customs, from there we assume it made it onto the trailer on the back of the bus, and to the parking garage, then we used another porter to go to the next garage (Handicapped). But we have not seen it since. Small soft sided black bag with red bandana on handle.. What do they do with luggage at the Port of Charleston parking garage if it turns up?:confused: Any help???

In June on the Liberty our room was Hot! September on the Sunshine the room was hot! Just off of the Fantasy today- air conditioning was fine!

Our aft balcony on the 8th floor was booked for 3 adults. NEVER try to put 3 adults in it. 2 adults and a child maximum. The only time we had problems with the noise was the very last night when they did a late night dance party in the Havana Lounge directly above us.

Liberty has an aft pool that IS adults only. It is enforced!!!:):):):)

There is a Faster to the Fun program where you pay to embark early. Otherwise only Platinum room goes early:(

Does anyone know the cost of a weekly pass to the thermal suite on the Dawn? I was on the Jewel in 2008 and the thermal suite was great! They had the heated tile chairs then that looked out over the front of the boat.
