  1. I did the fall two years ago and thank God I was with a group and guide. I thought I was cute climbing a certain area of the falls and got such an anxiety attack with the water pressure. The groups and guide worked to help me out of that situation. They also help set the pace to get from bottom to the top which takes longer then excepted.

  2. The process of buying airfare felt very random. We book cruise a year out. I guess I started checking airfare prices about 7 months out to get a idea and set a goal price in my head. Then I took a break because I wasn't ready to buy regardless of how many times I looked. I waited till four months out to make it a focus and as soon as I hit my goal price I bought it. One day it was $900+ two days later $600+ , so i quickly committed. I have not gone back to look to check if there was a better deal. .

  3. I am very used to cruising the Caribbean. I never wear my day clothes to evening dinner. Day clothes are always cover up/shorts or bathing suit. Now I am lost.... We have a twelve day Mediterranean coming up.

What do I do about clothes? How often will it be that I go straight to dinner from my tour. Is that a common practice people have noticed? or will I feel a huge desire after a long day touring to need fresh set for dinner. I have 8 pm dine time. We are doing mostly city tour of the major sites.

My outfits for port are all sundresses of various styles trying to match the vibe of the city. They are styles I would wear to work as a teacher (if we worked summer) and church.

I can't even begin to think about shopping and packing my teen daughter without crying. So trying to make mine easier starting two months early

  4. I've taken that train multiple times. What's the specific question?

How inconvenient would it be compared to just flying into Barcelona? It's seems simple mapping out the train stations in the cities. The price seems reasonable, it's not 60 days out so can't officially buy but seems about $40-$50. They run frequently. Is the area around the Barcelona train station a good place to book our hotel. Otherwise I was thinking of getting to area closer to the pier

My hometown, a person would consider close enough to NYC, but getting from our local airport to the city on public transportation would be a hassle (even with the railroad being within ten miles). So to hear from someone with experience I would feel better.

Thank you for any help you can offer on the subject

  5. Has anyone flown into Madrid and taken the train to Barcelona? The price adding in the train tickets is still a nice savings. We would also experience an extra city. We gave ourselves two days pre-cruise to make our way over and one day post. It seems train is around 3 hours.

It looks good on paper wondering real life if anyone knows?

  6. We have a tour booked with RIL for our day in Rome. There are three teens in our group who I think would get a kick out of touring inside the coliseum, third ring and underground. The company seems to think its a bad idea to tour inside due to the security. They feel that it would take too much time from our day. My questions are: has it been that bad with the new added security? Would cutting the time in Vatican to 2 hours be a horrible thing? Did anyone travel with teens to two places and generally which did they prefer?

    Thank you
