• I choose NCL because it leaves from NYC and I can pick an affordable cabin.   However, the ports are too  repititious and the port tours too expensive.

Since Gem is smaller are chances for upgrades possibly as good as on larger Escape?

Had the wine package on the Escape in December....one wine was especially good and have tried with no luck to get it in NYC.…..It"s Borrigiano il Borro   (made by the Ferragamo family).

Shouldn"t this be sent to the PR Dept....Travel Agerncies, Travel blogs, etc....

1. YES.....the table was set up inside one of the rooms...maybe the Headliners Comedy Club......ask...it"s definitely still there!

I thought "freestyle" mean"t not having to eat at certain times or places....not that you could "do whatever you want". How you dress for venues depends on where you"re from and what your circle is used to. So you"ll see  everything on an affordable cruise.  I sat in Cagney"s next to a dressed-down couple with a screaming child.  Yes, it all affected the ambiance of my dinner.  I guess you can wear baseball caps in country clubs and  suburban-rural areas for lunch and dinner too.   But I think they set  up Le Bistro, Cagney"s etc. so we can have not only some different foods, but some different ambiance choices.....      

Looking at itineraries...so many short port stops...would enjoy more  at sea days to relax and enjoy the big ships.

No breakfast smoked salmon (lox)….no anchovies in the Caesar salad....flounder has replaced salmon on the daily menu ….lots of pasta dishes on the Escape.

Did not receive paper bill on last day Escape Dec. 21.

go to a bartender or waiter and ask to buy one of the Viva Vino packages......there are 3 categories available....all are good.

announcement just said medical emergency and weather.....casino closed at 7pm...and taxes for drinks in Ny reinstated.

How much does NCL make on this VIBE promotion?  How much per pass x how many passes?  Is it really worth all this poor PR for NCL?

Do away with the VIBE and just add more chairs and better service for all.

Can"t make dinner res Escape on 12/12, 12/16 or 12/20 on line.....those dates not listed for each restaurant. Are they blocked out???

Puerto Rico eliminated today for Escape December 9 due to berth problem.
