  1. There are vaccines in our future.  They will be safe and they will help us all get back to Seabourn faster.  Stay Safe Stay Home!!  This will end.  Listen to the Scientists and Doctors.  Do not listen to the soon to be over current administration.

  2. Lisa, unfortunately everything from the service to the drinks were not up to SB quality. We stayed in a suite and the speciality restaurants, to be fair were excellent. However, service wise elsewhere, it was the little things, nobody filled up drinks, or paid attention when things were not good, they shrugged their shoulders. Staff were pretty disingenuous, breakfast and lunch choices poor, and service was mediocre. Some buffet staff were downright rude. Wines were poor quality, no champagne included just poor fizzy wine. Cocktails made were downright revolting and when we left them because they were undrinkable nobody asked what was wrong, and we got fed up of having to complain every time. Azamara was just lacklustre and i suppose if we hadnt have done, most of the luxury lines we would have thought a premium line like Az was ok. However, there is a reason why Az is a premium line and SB is a luxury line. Attention to detail to name just one.

We did one Azamara cruise and I have to agree. Azamara was ordinary. We stayed in a large suite and found it to be excellent, but the food was bland. We'we travelled Seabourn since 2005 and each and every voyage has been exceptional.

  3. I have read much conflicting information about traveling in Princess Grill. We are booked on an Eastbound and Westbound transatlantic in June 2018. Can someone answer a few questions?

Will we get our requested table for 2 in the Grill?

Is there a mini bar in the Princess Suite?

    Order off menu?

    a la carte menu?

Special request dinners a day in advance.

  4. Yesterday, I read this review of Quest's transatlantic crossing last year......

I found it VERY difficult to believe

My husband and I have been traveling on Seaboard since 2005 and we have never had anything like this happen. We have always been treated with respect and kindness by the crew. We have met many other gay couples Seaboard cruises and not one couple has never had anything but praise for Seabourn. I don't post much, but I had to respond to this one.

  5. 7 out of the 10 top suites have king-size beds that do NOT separate...the 3 that CAN be separated are all Club World Owners' Suites, all port side aft:

    6088

    7114

    8088

Will the Club Ocean Suite 7004 on the Journey get the redo?? Just curious. Our cruise is 27th January 2015 BA to Rio.

  6. We are going on our first Azamara cruise in less than a month. Excited, yes. We both enjoy an early morning gym session. Can anyone tell us if the gym offers free weights? We do not like the machines, but can work with them of we need to.

  7. I took 8 cruises on the Pride when it belonged to Seabourn. It is a wonderful ship. Beautiful layout, small and cosy, and lots of fun. Give Windstar time and it will be as lovely as it was when Seabourn owned it. I plan on booking a trip on her so I can be on that lovely ship again. The Legend and the Spirit are next in May 2015. I have sailed on those girls too and will again. Windstar is now the proud owner of the "Little Sisters."

  8. If they surprise one person they'll disappoint someone else. And no matter to what concept they might change R2 some people will be unhappy. Make it Italian someone will want Asian. Make it Asian and someone will want French. Make it French and someone will want a steak house. There's only one solution for everyone....Oasis of the Seas where they can have it all.

I love this post!! I had to laugh. Thanks wripo.
