I am going to be on the epic the 18th, and I'm looking for a description of the electric outlet in a inside cabin. I am looking to buy a multi plug adapter (non surge protector) that plugs into the outlet(no cord)
In one of the comment of the adapter I was looking at, they said it did not work on ncl
I wad wondering if there was something special about their outlets.
Thanks in advance

Thanks again everyone for all on the great information. I called and they told me I will need to be at the ferry 30 minutes prior to sailing, so I made a reservation for 11am. I figured that should give us plenty of time to get there. I'm so looking forward to seeing Ellis island, in 1914 my grandmother came to America through Ellis island.
Thanks again

Would taking a uber to battery part be an option in the ferry is overwhelmed?
The ship pulls in at 7, so I was thinking that I would try to get tickets for 10am? I am going to try to get the tickets today. Do I need advanced tickets for the ferry?
Thanks everyone.

GTJ,
Thank you for replying to my post. I really appreciate all the information you provided as well as the links to the web sites. I think your response is the best one I have ever got on CC, and you were correct on what cruise I am on.
Thanks again

Hello,
I will be on a princess cruise in July that stops in New York city (I think the Manhattan Cruise Terminal). We want to visit the Statue of Liberty on our own. It looks like the ferries leave from battery park. I am exploring different options on how to get from the cruise terminal to battery park. It looks like there might be a ferry that leaves from the cruise port area that goes to battery park. Other options I have seen talks about walking a few blocks and taking the subway (not sure about the subway). If anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated. I did do searches on cruise critic, but the only one I found was from 2012.
Thank You in advance.

Thanks for the input.
Being my first-time using Uber, this is all new to me. I will probably cancel the reservation. Has anyone had an issue getting a uber in Miami by the airport at 9am?
Thank You

We are staying at the Candlewoods suites Miami airport and will need transportation to the port of Miami. I reserved a uber for that day, but it looks like there is a hidden reservation fee that you don't find out the amount until after using the service. When I made the reservation, the price stated was around $20.00. Anyone have an idea of what the additional charge would be? Should I just cancel the reservation, and just request a ride when I need it, or keep what I have.
This is the first time using uber, so any information on how to use uber would be appreciated. Anyone know of a ride share in Miami, I usually fly into FLL and use SAS, but I don't think they service Miami.
Thank You in advance.

Thank you for pointing this out, I did not even pay attention to the asterisks. Do you know if it is automatic or do you have to ask for it in the casino.
Thank you

So it sounds like you'd have to have more than $25 in your account at the end of the cruise to get anything. If you had $100, they'd subtract out the $25 and you'd get $75. If you had $30, you'd get $5. If you had between zero and $25, you'd neither get nor pay anything.
If you lost $100, you'd really only lose $75 because you started out at +$25, I'm guessing.
Where does it say that platinum members get a $25 slot credit? I checked and did not see it.
I did see that there was a buy one get one free for the slot tournament.

Thank you for your suggestion, and yes, I did call the hotel. They do not provide shuttle service to the port. They said uber or a taxi. I was hoping someone might have some other alternatives.

I am looking for suggestions on the best way to get from the Wyndham Miami Airport hotel to POM. We are a party of two, with probably 3 bags. We usually fly into Fort Lauderdale a take a shuttle from the hotel to the port. This time we are flying into the Miami airport and staying by the airport. Are shuttles available? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

I was on a Alaskan cruise that ran late heading for Victoria, we still pulled up to the dock, but no one could get off. Maybe that is a option?

There is a trail along the water at the base of the fort(south side I think), does that trail go all the way around the fort? Is there a place that you can enter the fort from that trail? I have walked on parts of the trail and saw allot of cats, are they still there?
Thank You in advance

I am trying to decide between two companies for transportation from a hotel by MCO to port Canaveral and back (2 people). The two companies are Cortrans and cruise control.
Cortrans is a 10am pick up at the hotel and would be $35 round trip pp.
Cruise control would be a 9:25 pick up at the hotel and would be $28.
Both have a 8:15 pickup at the port.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Please do not suggest any other company, I don't what to make the decision any more complicated.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Going on a cruise that leaves in February out of Port Canaveral. Flying in the day before(2-14-20) at 6pm. I was thinking we would stay at a hotel by the airport then catch a shuttle the next morning to the port. First time out of Port Canaveral where we did not drive. I was wondering if this is a good plan or not. Thanks in advance.

When we have walked to the El Morro Fort, there is a trail that goes along the base of the Fort next to the water. If I remember correctly there were several cats around it. Can anyone tell me if I take the trail to the point(entrance to the harbor), can I enter the fort there or do I need to walk back. Thanks in advance.

Taking a cruise from port of Miami, flying home from Fort Lauderdale. My flight is not until 4:30 PM and I am looking for some advise on renting a car near the port and dropping of at FLL. If anyone has done this lately, could you please let me know where you rented the car(agency), location(airport, downtown...), was there a shuttle, how long was the wait for the shuttle, and was there any issue picking up the car(long wait...). Thank You in advance.

There is only two of us, we were thinking of doing the Everglades tour($55PP), then I noticed I could get a car for the day through budget for around $35. I was thinking that might be a option, then we can set our own schedule.
I have used SAS in the past with no issues.

Thank you for the video, it showed me what I wanted to know. Looks like a standard outlet to me.
Thanks again
