I don't think fistfights and brawls should ever be allowed on a cruise ship. The cruise lines have a right and responsibility to their other passengers to stop a fight and also place people who do not follow the rules in the "brig". But I do not believe that all people who go on cruises on a budget are all "lowlifes".
Just to be clear, I don’t think he is equating low budget to lowlifes. What we can agree on is there are lowlifes out there right??? And the affordable prices MAY attract “some trouble makers”….to be honest we are all on a budget, a paycheck or two from poverty…if not, we would be ALL be on world cruises or sail our own boats. So don’t take it personal and please stay on topic 🙏🏾….please and thank you.

Why would "Haiti" want them? It's one thing to dump someone in another state, but another country is totally different.
Perhaps they should consider the amounts of alcohol involved.
That’s my point, being dropped off in another country will cost you thousands of dollars… it acts as a deterrent. How do you consider the amount of alcohol, set a limit?

Recently there has been a noticeable increase in fights aboard multiple cruise lines and I am bothered. My opinion is cruise lines needs deterrents, like you get put off in the country you started the occurrence in or on the next port. For example, imagine getting put off in Haiti 🇭🇹 and having to find your way back to the states. I bet the next time you want to cause a fight, you will think 🤔 twice. This also includes a lifetime ban across cruise lines. They should Have a ZERO tolerance for 🤬 have everyone sign waivers via cruise docs. What’s you all opinions.

Hey good people, Can anyone tell me if carnival Is limiting The number of people sitting together during buffet? And if so what’s the highest number of people that can sit together? And if so, what’s the highest number of people that can sit together? I have a party of seven …

Hey good people, I have a question regarding any time dining versus 6 PM dining. Oh I have a party of eight and two members of that party of eight are scheduled for any time dining or as the remaining party is scheduled for 6 PM. We were told that it’s not possible or there is a long waiting list for the Anytime diners to join us at the 6 PM dining so with that being said here is my question, can we keep our 6 PM dining and join them for any time dining or are they going to make us stick with what we signed up with🤷🏽♀️ And that’s 6 PM dining???

In Jamaica take an excursion or stay on the ship. Jamaica is a toilet.

My all time favorite excursion we've ever done was in Cozumel. We went on the Tucan sailing adventure with Cozumel Sailing. Best day ever. Nice catamaran, small group - maybe 15 on board, lunch cooked and served on board, snorkeling, private beach, and spinnaker rides off the back of the boat. Really a great day!

I absolutely agree! The best excursion ever. Great food, attentive service, wonderful experience. If I had to choose another event, it would probably be the cozumel 12 metre america's cup. If you like adventure, this may be an option.

Yes, we decided to do the Freedom in August and then the Jewel In Dec 26 for New Years[emoji322][emoji323]. I am so jealous about your B2B in November.

Yes you can! I wouldn't advise it but you can. For women just beach wraps and bathing suits, yes you can. For men, its much easier...all you need are swim trunks and a toothbrush.

Good question! I am also interested....

The one word I always heard NEVER to use with those old NCC's was "cancel".
I can almost guarantee they will not do what you want them to do as far as the OBC. I would just move it to another cruise as Bob suggested.
Exactly! The word transfer worked well for me ...

I always go to the bank and get $100 in one dollar bills. It just simplifies everything.

Cruising is not for everyone and lot of times I think that if people had what they considered a bad cruising experience, they will continue to look for faults the next time they cruise. Some people love it and some don't. One thing I will say however is that even though I have never sailed on Carnival I don't think that you could compare Fascination built in 1994 with Adventure built in 2001. I believe you should have a much better experience on Adventure than you had on Fascination.
Exactly!!!! My thoughts exactly!!! I would never suggest the Fascination for a first time cruiser. I have been on 13 cruises and I have cruised on the Fascination ... And it was a turn off. In fact, I stop using the Carnival as a result that cruise[emoji19]

I think they leave before dusk in order to avoid the mosquitoes. There are a lot of mosquito viruses going around in the Caribbean.

I took two hanging laundry bags and hung them on a hook for the dirty laundry

Favorite: the first welcome announcement...its assures me that I am on vacation [emoji5]️
Least favorite: the fact that Park Cafe is not on all ships[emoji49]

You asked a great question, and I too share the same concerns. I hope someone answers this question soon. My first choice was Leeward Island Charters, so I emailed them, only to learn that they only book through the ship...disappointing.

Labadee used to be such a lovely, quiet beach spot. Little besides chairs, umbrellas, a buffet, and a small craft market...that was years ago, when you could lounge on a quiet beach and maybe walk along the coast. They had the zipline, but that was about it, and you had to go to the other side to see it.
Now, it's like Disneyland Haiti. Aside from the zipline, they have waterslides, a coaster, an inflatable water park, jet skis, tram, signage everywhere, cabanas built on the water line, one of the best beaches cordoned off for suite guests...blech. In other words, they figured out how to make a lot more $$$, which in turn ruined the quiet, tropical atmosphere. There is now no quiet, secluded spot on the entire peninsula.
My point exactly! My husband and I were just talking about that. This was a location I use to purchase local unique art work and statues. Unfortunately it's become soooooooooo commercial now, I can find the the same trinkets on every island. It didn't use to be like that[emoji20]

That is it 🤷🏽♀️. It’s just that simple. I wanted to have a conversation with like minded people that love cruising as much as I do … I don’t want to argue with the Kens and Karen’s that feel like my opinion hurt their feelings … I don’t want to discuss the balance of other cruiser’s checking account, etc. There are literally 9123 other topics on this board you can crash if this makes you uncomfortable.
