No answer yet why the ship can't go to OPT on 22/3/17!

I believe last year after so many unhappy comments about white bay that Azamara did go to OPT on the second day on one of the sailings, as the slot was vacant. It's vacant for the 22/3/17 so things can be changed. But my memory could be faulty!

I think we shall have to send you up to the roof of your hotel Vera to really confirm Azamara is not at OPT. Such a shame White Bay is an awful port call and not a good look for Azamara. Hopefully this might change back again! It,could be worse last week Radiance of the Seas was a tender in the harbour as she can't get under the bridge and they had to check in at White,Bay and then ferry out to the ship. Have to agree with you. We did go to the dining room and the food was awful. Worst ever eaten at sea. Only lasted 4 meals and then no more!!! We then went to the specialty restaurants to survive the rest of the cruise. You forgot all those children's movies each day suitable for 6 year which there weren't many of! We,watched a paid movie in desperation to fill in time.

Lovely ship but inferior quality food overall and so over cooked. Was glad to be home

We did 34 nights charter last year with this company. Azamara had everything as usual except the special night concert. Your travel agent should have a email they can send to you of the land tours for the ship. Great ports of call.Not many people used the roll call but those that did had lots of tours booked. Get going and have a look at all the usual places to find out what tours you want and ask if anyone will join you to cut down the costs. You lucky people and it's such a great discount.

Have enjoyed each day clicking onto your thread to see how things were going. I am sure all of us appreciate your going the extra mile to give us an update.

The shuttle buses drop you off near the tourist info centre in the heart df Dunedin

I am sad to see Azamara is having to use this terminal,lots of small ships that can go under the bridge are having to use this port.. It's not a good view of Sydney. But the ferry shuttle will give a wonderful view of the harbour that you normally would not experience. Just leave the terminal and forget it and enjoy Sydney. Having sailed many times on Azamara Sydney harbour will be wonderful once you get there! Also you are all lucky the £ and $ will afford you more spending money. Also just a note about Bali the harbour control all the transport out of the port. They have the monopoly on taxie service into the city. It's pay or walk ( not possible). The best thing is to arrange a private taxie tour and you meet them outside the gates. Shirley

Just come off the quest only lobster is the salad in Peimce C the lobster pasta and bisque not so good. Did not like the new menus in Aqualina.

Having just come off the Quest last week I was disappointed in the general state of the carpet area outside windows and lift area ,many different stains of blue and the wear on the couch in Mosiac Cafe and chairs looking very shabby. First time I have seen either ship look so worn.

I think we all have to remember that each person may want different things from Azamara. With over 600 people cancelled for your cruise it will not be easy.

We did not get our refunds from the Quest fire for some time, but trusted that it would come and nearly all passengers found something to see or fly to until our original flights back home. Keep positive it will turn out ok. We are trying again for the aborted cruise starting on the 17/3 . Shirley

Gosh don't complain we have to pay $800 each and loose the lot if we cancell

Our thoughts go out to Bill,s family in this sad time. He was a wonderful asset to Azamara and assisted many in this role.
