  1. Promanade rooms ARE quiet. The glass is very thick. You might get noise at the parades but you will be at the parade anyways. Other then that--- they are quiet.

Becareful not to get the cabins on the other side of the bridges-- your view will be obtstructed.

other side of bridges?? Our room voyager of the sea room #7297

  2. Now that our cruise is just a few weeks away, maybe more people will begin to visit here and post. I haven't been on lately because we just bought another house and we are in the process of remodeling before we move in, so that's been keeping us very busy! So excited, though, about this upcoming cruise and WE all will be the 1st Conquest ship to return to Cozumel!! Maybe we will get a special greeting when we get there! :D

We will be on the last cruise NOT to get to go to Cozumel !! May 31st cruise !!!! Can't wait !!!!!!:) Then I will be on it again June 14th cruise to key west and the bahamas !! Yea !!!!!!:)

  3. Thank you to both. It's one bottle per person, correct? We were hoping to bring the Dom P and a bottle of red. When we did supper club on the Valor they charged the corkage fee, so I was anticipating that.

Any idea from anyone on the formal night attire in the Supper Club on formal night -- is it consistent with everything else?

No corkage fee !!! Just sailed Dec.30 2007 new year cruise. We brought our bottle of wine to dinner every night and they opened it... no charge ( You can bring more than 2 bottles, no one ever looked)We also brought water with us.The couple we were with brought wine and Dom P. too ! We had a great new years eve..... the best !! Next year we will be on the voyager..... a wonderful time to cruise !!!:)

  4. Sailing on 1/20, and I sailed this cruise last year, but because I'm old (and therefore more forgetful than ever), I have forgotten some key details. Can anyone help? Many thanks in advance!

    1) If my spouse and I arrive at the terminal at 10:30 a.m., will we be able to begin the check-in process? If so, any estimates on how long it might take us to get onboard?

    2) Can I make a reservation at The Point prior to my sail date, or must I wait until we sail?

    3) Has anyone had any trouble using the documents they printed from the site (as opposed to using documents mailed to you via snail mail from Carnival)?

    4) Has anyone stayed on the 10th deck, and if so, how was it? (I stayed on Deck 7 on the last cruise.)

My apologies if these questions have been addressed somewhere else on this thread. I'm under a bit of a time crunch and can't currently go back and read all prior postings.

    Again, many thanks!

We just got off January 6 and we stayed on the 10th deck room1001 and there was a lot of movement. It is a quiet floor. We were on the ship by 11:30 eating lunch. Have fun and bring plenty of meds with you because the weather has not been that great for cruising ! Lots of big waves.:(

  5. First cruise and I have an outside cabin on deck 3 and have been asked about upgrading for more money. Is it worth it to move to deck 7 and have a balcony or does it just depend on where the cabin is located. There must be a reason that some of the balcony rooms would not be taken since they would seem to be the preferred rooms. I don't want to have my first cruise ruined by noise because I don't plan to sleep too much but when I sleep it needs to be good sleep. It is either 7 or eight that may be a consideration for upgrade. I will speak with agent again tomorrow. This is a good place to be able to read some negative thing to look for since nothing is ever perfect but most I have read has been good.

I wish someone would answer us about the balcony rooms on deck 7:confused:
