Hello All…Not a first time cruiser by any means, but, first time NCL with a tender port (Ålesund,Norway). So my question is, How does NCL handle tendering? Is 2 hours leeway enough time to book an excursion on my own? We dock at 8…excursion starts at 10. Your experience will go a looong way to help me decide what to do. Thank you!

Hello. Booking our first Celebrity cruise in quite a awhile. I know we get reciprocity in status as we are Diamond Plus on Royal.

My question is...Cocktail Hour and what is included at the Elite level. Is it like Royal with free drinks from 4:30-8 in a designated area? Are you limited to the amount of drinks you

get? Any help would be appreciated. We are booking the Equinox.

We just visited Spice Beach Club in February. Since we had already toured the island on a previous trip, we wanted a beach stop here. After a lot of research we went to Spice Beach Club as it really seems like there was not another alternative for a few hours. The beach in my opinion was not great. In fact, we didn't even attempt to go in. Instead we enjoyed the pool and beach bar area. We rented lounge chairs and just went back and forth to the pool. We rented an umbrella as well on the beach, but none at the pool to rent. The day was OK...nothing great and nothing awful. You do not need to reserve ahead of time. I will say though the area around us filled up quick. Hope that helps.

I have done this trip both ways, and will be going again with family in September. For me, and in my opinion, the bus up and train back was much better. We got to stop and take photos by bus and then enjoy the ride by train back. It broke up the trip and made it much more fun. I would definitely not book through the ship as this is an easy trip to do with many independent companies that charge much less. This trip we are using Chilkoot Charters.

Hello. Going on board the Grandeur of the Seas in a couple of weeks. Confirming all my off shore excursions and realized Canada is on Atlantic Standard Time. I have been on ships where they change the clocks, and some (actually most) where the ship stays on its current time. Does anyone have experience with the Grandeur in Canada this season? did it change or stay on East Coast time?
