  1. Aw Pink...I don't know what the deal is with all the ACL injuries in the world! I taught Zumba for several years...I was still an instructor when I got injured. I heard of several injuries doing Zumba...you are the first person with a story similar to mine. I can't help it...I always give DH a look whenever I hear Wobble...and I have to dance it still. Ah well. Did you have surgery? Or are you a coper?

I went with surgery: laparoscopic ACL reconstruction and then physical therapy. That was almost 10 years ago and that knee still isn’t right. And I totally understand with the Wobble... it’s just so... catchy.

  2. Hi Anita Latte (LOVE the name btw) I hate that I missed the Jambu wedges, I've been looking for something similar for my upcoming cruise - same size too! :loudcry::loudcry:

Aside the lure of practically free shoes (what!) I think I was drawn to this post because I too have torn my ACL attempting to dance... except mine involved the show Toddlers and Tiaras and my way too old/overweight/should have known better body attempting one of their dance routines. :o:oSo you are not alone... And should feel prouder knowing that someone has done something far sillier...

    :)

  3. I always feel like I am the only one recommending Wal-Mart, but check it out! I am about a size 18, and love their (I think it's called) "Suddenly Slim" line by Catalina. I have 3 of their one pieces (I personally don't find their 2pc / tankini styles flattering ON MY BODY). I was just there yesterday and they had a large selection of cute tankini styles... all sizes. I have also ordered online if it's not in store.

Honesty- I don't think Wal-Mart gets enough credit for SOME of their clothing. Their bathing suits seem to have improved in recent years. I bought a cute floral tankini a few months ago and was pleasantly surprised by the quality, flattering affect and thickness of it. So no, you are not the only one who recommends them. :):):)

  4. Two things: someone previously mentioned a keratin treatment. These are amazing! It's like having an automatic good hair day everyday! The salon treatments are in a league over their own over the at home treatments (just don't...) However, I have not tried it while on a humid Carribbean cruise, just a European one, and the sea air is not created equally! If you do go the Keratin route, you have to use sulfate free smoothing shampoo/conditioner. The best bang for the buck is the Renpure Brazillian Keratin shampoo and conditioner. https://www.amazon.com/Renpure-Organics-Brazilian-Straightening-Conditioner/dp/B00AC1AFMA/ref=pd_sim_194_3?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00AC1AFMA&pd_rd_r=JQK1F79ZY54T3E4HBKF7&pd_rd_w=0VJSE&pd_rd_wg=ddUlt&psc=1&refRID=JQK1F79ZY54T3E4HBKF7

It smells like coconut which is an added bonus for your tropical vacay!

Second thing: a product called Frizz Ease Extra Strength serum. It's a heat protectant AND humidity fighter in one. Great stuff. I prefer it over the more expensive: It's a 10, Pureology, and Redken products for pure fact that it works way better.

    Hope this helps!

  5. Hi, here's the recipe according to the onboard sign: Vanilla Vodka, Malibu Rum, White Crème de Cacao, Coconut Milk, Cream, Sugar Syrup, Cotton Candy Cloud.

Not sure of the exact measurements of each ingredient though.

Thank you! That was exactly what I was looking for!

  6. We were just on the "infamous" 03/05 - 03/10 Emerald Princess cruise. :p We had a fabulous time regardless of the clientele.

Anyhow, one of the drinks of the day was the "A Little Magic." I know it had Absolut Vanilla, Cream of Coconut, but I can't remember the rest. Would anyone be so kind as to fill in the blanks?

    TIA!

  7. If you're in the beach areas, you should be fine. If you venture afield, I'd bring some bug spray along. We did. Really didn't need it as we did mostly beach hops, but doesn't hurt to have it on hand.

What he said. We were just on the Emerald Princess in Princess Cays last week. We did dune buggy adventure tour. On the stop, we were visiting an old Lighthouse and I got eaten alive by 'biting midges.' I'm still suffering. Let me be the cautionary tale: Put On the Off!:o
