Hello. We will be on the Caribbean Princess from Ft Lauderdale. We may bring some additional bottles of wine on board besides our complementary one bottle each. When checking in through security do we bring our additional wine bottles to a special area and pay the additional $15 for each bottle at that time? Any feedback on this process is appreciated. 

Will be on the Caribbean Princess from Ft. Lauderdale. Do you know what the minimum bet for black jack tables are? I typically play black jack in the morning on sea days. We were recently on a Carnival cruise and the minimum bet increased from $6 to $10. Thanks 

Greetings. I receive some casino offers mostly for DOU in the casino and a small OBC. It sounds like some cruisers get better casino offers like free inside cabins. Has anyone seen their casino offers improve over time? I am wondering if the Players Club will increase your status based on your casino play or do you always stay the same status? Thanks.

We recently sailed on the Sky Princess from Port Everglades and was our second Princess cruise. We have been on many Carnival cruises and are platinum. My hubby and I are seniors living in FL. Music on Princess is from the 1960's and Carnival from the 1980's and up. There are more food options at Princess MDR and lido buffet but they lacked the delicious factor we have found on Carnival. Both lines do a good job. We prefer Carnival for the variety and food. We would sail Princess again but would be more excited on a Carnival sailing.

Yes they still have the guava juice at breakfast, at least on Lido.

Greetings. We will be on the Carnival Sunrise from Miami in a couple of months. Does anyone have feedback on when Miami cruises start the boarding process? Also do they have the guava juice in the lido for breakfast? My hubby likes it.

Every time I've had DOU, I've noticed a $0.00 item in my folio that says something like "Drinks on Us Casino" as soon as I embarked. So check your hub app when you get on the ship to check it is another option.

Greetings. On my casino offer I have drinks on us while playing at the casino. Do I need to check in at the casino when beginning to play to ensure this has been link to me? Also what has been your experience when ordering a drink? Does the service staff come around often? Are any type of drinks available? I play slots and blackjack. Any feedback is appreciated. First time with this offer.

We are back in the Cielo per the app!  Can't wait to enjoy this MDR in the Sky Princess!

My Cielo dining was not in the app and used the link in post #35 and it showed up. I printed it for our upcoming Sky cruise. This was a very helpful posting.

Hello. On the new Coffee Grounds Package are you able to use it in the MDR at dinner time? I enjoy espresso or latte with dessert. It would be a great option to use as part of the 15 specialty coffee package. I know you can use it at the International Cafe. Thanks.

We booked a 17 night cruise on Princess for Fourth of July travel, and they canceled that itinerary just weeks before sailing and after final payment had been made.  They offered us $100pp if we booked a replacement cruise within 60 days.  They did not honor the rate nor the incentive package for a similar cruise.  We spent the last several months corresponding with them, as we ended up swallowing the loss on over $2,000 in airfare.  Again, they won’t budge.

We booked this cruise a year and a half before the cruise to get a direct aft cabin for a special celebration. These cabins are difficult to get as there are only a small number. Our sailing is for 5 days and a comparable cabin in our category is not available for any of the cruises around this time.  

Hello Carnival Cruisers,

Our 11/4/23 Carnival Sunrise cruise has been cancelled.  Apparently it has been changed to a chartered cruise.  Carnival is offering the same cruise fare and $25/pp OBC to an alternate cruise of the same length or a refund.  We are disappointed as we selected a specific type of cabin and location.  It will be hard to duplicate on another sailing with obtaining the same cabin, time of year and length of cruise.  Has anyone experienced their cruise being cancelled?  Any helpful tips you used to get something more for the inconvenience?

Thank you for the replies. It sounds like cigar smoking is not very good at it will probably be wind most of the time. 

Greetings.  My Hubbie enjoys smoking a cigar in the evening after dinner. I understand there is designated area on the Equinox's  Sunset Bar for cigar smoking.  Does anyone know if this area is covered at all or is it totally open?  Thank you for your feedback.

Greetings fellow cruisers. We went to Half Moon Cay a few years ago and went to a "pirate ship" bar with a pirate. Does anyone know if this "pirate ship" bar still exists?

What is the past guest party like for gold level Princess cruisers? We are thinking of a 4 or 5 day cruise on the Carribean Princess as our second Princess cruise. Are gold past guest parties offered on a 4 or 5 day cruise? We are Platnimum on Carnival and enjoy their past guest parties with complementary beverages, appetizers and music.

I booked an early saver for a Freedom aft-extended balcony. There are not many of these types of balconies on the ship. When these types of cabins are sold out how can you tell if you have a price drop with the early saver?
