  1. Ok, I have been searching the forums for an answer to this question, and so far haven't really found anything that answers it, so I created this post. If there is an answer somewhere else, please point me to it.

I have recently booked the H2 Deluxe Owners Suite on the Epic for this January, and am trying to figure out a couple things.

The first thing that I am trying to understand, and NCL's site isn't very helpful on this, is do we get the rumored 3 bottles of liquor in our suite? If so, when and how, do we let them know what we would like as our 3 bottles? Following along on that it appears from some posts out there that in these suites we get free soda and water as well in the room. Is that true?

Yes it is true. Your butler will have you select from the choices and he will bring to you that first day.

The second thing is how does the priority tendering work? It seems from most posts out there that you need reservations for a particular tender to go ashore? No reservations needed. The concierge will arrange a meet time and place for you.

I guess the third question, is do we need to make reservations ahead of time for any of the specialty restaurants or can we really just wing it since we are in the Haven? In my experience only reservations needed beforehand would be for Teppanyaki as their seating is extremely limited. Other than that your concierge should be able to handle any requests.

Anything else we should know about the Haven? We have done Disney 3 times before in their one bedroom concierge level which was amazing and great. This trip is without the kids, so anything that is a must do on the Epic that we should know about.

    Thanks in advance.

Please see above answers from my experience. You will love it!

  2. Glide_path thank you for replying...unfortunately the pictures did not come through. You did put my mind at ease stating that the second bedroom couch could in fact be made up for 2 people.

Since we booked during the 3rd and 4th free promo my friends just paid the taxes and port fees. I am sure they won't mind a tiny bedroom. ;)

  3. We are booked in Cabin 16718 on the 8/27 sailing. We are curious about the 2nd bedroom setup in the 2 bdrm villa...in the smaller bedroom, is there just a sofa bed or is there the pull down bed as well?

    Thank you!

The sofa bed in the 2nd bedroom sleeps 2 and then there is also a pull down. I would recommend asking for an egg crate for the sofa bed :)

  4. Does the breakaway have regular bowling or duckpin on the ship. Its in/near o'sheehans right?

Whats the cost per game? And if there is shoe rental?

Do they have a bowling tournament in tbe freestyle daily?

I would call it "bowling" more like candlepin. The pins are all attached by ropes and though it is fun if you are looking for anything that resembles actual bowling you may be disappointed.

  5. Good morning:

You will only have to pay the tax on the drinks :)

  6. Not sure if this is the proper place for this question...

Anyone know how much it is to rent snorkel gear at GSC?

I'd like to avoid doing an excursion so I hoping to just rent when I get there. Or even possibly bring my own

I believe we paid $30 for the snorkel gear in November.

  7. Have anyone been to the restaurant Flying Fishbone in Aruba????

I was there 2 weeks ago and LOVED it! Make sure you make reservations and ask for a table in the water

  8. My wife and I have been on a good number of NCL cruises ... this winter will be a first for us as our Grand Kids will be along. As to the arcade games, does one swipe the room card? And also, about how much are the games?

    Thanks...

    Chuck and Mary

You swipe the room card and games can range up to $5.

  9. Service was spectacular! The employees just love weddings.

We did reception at the Garden Villa, between the inside ands outside I couldn't think of a more beautiful spot.

The villa comes with 6 bottles of liquor and any ands all mixers of your choice.

My main advice is you cannot be a control freak as I am. Meaning once you talk to your planner you have no other contact until a week or so before. You have to trust they are taking care of everything. That was almost impossible for me lol.

I brought my music on my iPad and they hooked it up to a bose system for me.
