  1. So excited to see new dates but no QE for summer 2020 [emoji30]. What's up with that?? It shows Alaska in June. Then still Alaska in September. It will then head to do Japan/Australia trips. I heard it was going to be staying down under then.

What about summer 2020 [emoji37][emoji15][emoji30]. Fingers crossed it does Alaska for summer2020 but nothing listed yet. It will be my big 50. I would love to check Alaska off my bucket list on my favorite ship [emoji7][emoji7]. Wondering when they will put it out??

We've done Norway/Baltic multiple times. Trip booked for Iceland this summer [emoji41].

  2. Pleasantly surprised by cunards nutritional support. They go above & beyond to help you. Canyon ranch, sugar free , gluten free is very available including large special areas in the Kings court. I've encouraged family to try Cunard due to food allergies.

  3. We were on the first segment on QE & met some lovely "all the wayers". But did noticed a lot of rude people especially with the staff . We were younger then most. I said age & money should not equal rudeness. Manners show class nit money.

  5. Trying to talk hubby into a quick July 4 trip but then thought better of it. We are used to doing b2b & enjoy the whole Cunard experience. Every year I consider this trip cause we live in ny but always change my mind. Think it's too short & hubby gets frustrated with all the red cards.

  6. We had 8 port days recently. We booked ship trips first couple but then decided to just hire taxis for a few hours. Getting a personalized tour in a comfy wifi ready car was much cheaper & we got to get around better with just the two of us. You have to watch the clock & make sure you can understand the driver but would recommend hiring a car.

  7. I had a outlet extender but didn't need it. With the tv on the all there were plenty of outlets. We just completed a holiday cruise on QE & loved the ship. We have 100+ days on qm2 but it was out first time on QE. A magnificent ship. Enjoy

  8. Just to add my experience with mobility assistance. We were on Qe over holidays & I needed assistance at the port. There will be a section inside the building with a mobility sign. If possible you can call & get your name on the list. We didn't so my husband just went over to the guy in charge. There were quite a few people sitting n the area. But we got a porter quickly. He was a retired detective who took us through security & all the way to our room. Everyone was extremely professional & lovely. My husband had an envelope for our porter. Not sure if their allowed TOS. He seemed a little nervous but eventually too the envelope. I would have never made the lies or walking. Like they stated above accessible rooms are needed if your completely wheelchair bound. The won't make it into a regular room. Wishing you a wonderful vacation.

  9. Yes you 'll be permitted off the ship once it's cleared around 8 am. U.K. Does immigration on board during the week so you won't have to deal with it. They will offer a couple of trips but your free to go off on your own. Time back will be about 4:00. We tend to stay on ship in Southampton & take advantage of the mostly empty ship. But we've been there a bunch if times. Enjoy. Crossings are fabulous.

  10. We enjoyed our watercolor classes on QM2 very much. We will be joining QE over the holidays with a canary island & crossing. Wondering if there will be watercolor class on board QE? I really don't want to lug my art materials if I don't have to.

    Thanks for any advice.

  11. John makes good points. We always do first seating. I couldn't eat so late in the evening. We usually miss first night dinner cause I enjoy sail away. This summer we booked alternate for first night @7:30. This worked out great. East crossing is tough cause you do loose that hr. If you want afternoon tea or happy hr you'd be smart to book late seating. We enjoy watching sale away from our balcony. The front of deck 11 is great You can run back & forth between city & statue & be the first one under the ship. . Enjoy
