  1. Tucker in Texas, thank you for your consideration. I am an

old bat who rides a scooter, and you are right people rush

right in front of me even though I have been waiting there.

My scooter doesnt stop on a dime, so there is a lag time

after I stop. Low and behold if I run into someone they

    will sue me.

  2. Regarding the poster who referenced hover rounds, I ride a

scooter. I need to get into the elevators, OK. But I only

enter an elevator if it is not crowded. There is no way I

can get my scooter into a crowded elevator. Many times

the people in the elevator will move closer together and

invite me in. In that circumstance I do venture in.

Why has no one mentioned the extreme rudeness on the

last day of the cruise where everybody is toting luggage

and all trying to get into elevators at the same time.

That is not limited to us old people.

  3. Have to chime in here. I am an old bat who rides a scooter.

I travel alone since my husband passed away. Rudeness to me is people

who rush in front of me to get into an elevator knowing I am trying to get in also.

Have humorous incident to tell though. My husband and I were seated at a

table with 6 German tourists. They spoke German only. They hated America,

hated the ship, hated the food and crew. They made fun of my husband

who was a big guy with long hair. They pittied me because of him.

There are two forms of German, the formal German and the slang version

which they were talking. At the end of the evening as we were leaving

I spoke to them in my best formal German and said I hoped they are

enjoying the cruise and America. They all turned white as sheets and

then very red in the face.

Sometimes you can use scarcasm to deal with rude people.

  4. Hi

You mentioned that you had to walk a long way to go to WalMart. You were probably

parked (docked) where the Princess lines usually park. There is a gate that lets you

out of the area where the crosswalk is. Was there no one there to let you out? Usually

    there is a guard there.

I use a scooter motorized and that is how I went WalMart.
